Good morning peeps,
Brrrrr it's cold today, I think the furthest I'll be going today is into my craft room so in other words I'm enjoying a day at home.
Hubby and Jode had a really lovely day on Sunday at Hoggin' The Bridge, there were over 3,500 motorbikes there which was a lot more than the organisers anticipated and they raised thousands of pounds for various charity's including Meningitis UK which is close to our hearts as Jodie had Meningitis when she was only 11 and Jodie lost her friend Sophie to it last year. Jodie said it was an amazing & emotional day, she couldn't get over all the people lining the route waving & cheering, I'm amazed she could hear the cheers over the racket those Harley's make lol. After hours searching through You Tube videos of it hubby has managed to find video's of them riding so he's happy lol.
Today is new challenge day at
and this week our challenge is
If you are stuck for ideas & don't want to use the famous one's google "Fairytales" and you will be able to find lists of them.
This week my lovely teamies and I are showcasing my little favourites Magnolia stamps, pop over and take a peek at the gorgeous inspiration the girls have come up with.
Before I share my card I just want to thank the lovely Jane for giving me some tips for colouring white with Copics, I can't pull it off as well as Jane does but hopefully with a bit of practice I might get there, thanks hun xx
I have taken my inspiration from a Fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen called Little Ida's Flowers
Image - Magnolia, Tilda with Hellebore's & Sweet snowflakes from the Sweet Christmas Deams Collection 2011 & Christmas background stamp
Medium - Copics
Papers - Magnolia
Pearls - Melissa Frances
Lace - Simplicity trim line lace
Tools - MS Aspen PATP, Nesties, Bianca Memory Box snowflake, Magnolia Doo Hickey snowflake & mistletoe
I have masked sweet Tilda and stamped the Christmas text & sweet snowflakes in Dusty Concord distressed ink over & around the image, the sparkle is diamond stickles and the twirly stick is homemade.
I'm not sure if you can see it very well but this beautiful Simplicity lace has a really pretty iridescent finish, I so need to get lots more of this
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a very generous $50 in store spending spree
If you haven't seen the new Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection by Magnolia where the heck have you been lol, no seriously click the pic and take a peek I love them all
