I'm so sorry my blog hop post is late, I've only just come on line and hadn't realised there was a mix up with our publishing time & I then had problems trying to over ride my scheduled post grrrrrrr lol.

LETS GET HOPPING

For the second year in a row, Simon Says Stamp and Show & The Simon Says Stamp Challenge are joining forces to bring you a SUPER hop and treasure hunt to celebrate the approaching fall and winter holidays.

The Blog hop will finish on September 5th at 12 MN Ohio time (Sept 6th, 6 am CET, 5 am UK time) on the Simon Says Stamp and Show Blog.
The last stop on the hop is the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge blog. You will need to leave a comment there with the names of the 3 blogs with hidden treasure. The comments will be moderated so you will not be able to see the answers.

The theme for both challenges this week will be

 ANYTHING GOES.

You can make anything you like … a card, an ATC, a Scrapbook layout … the possibilities are endless!

You will need to hop through each blog, find the little parcel of goodies and make a note on which designer’s blog you found them. You do not HAVE to comment on all the DT blogs but we would appreciate any comments you would like to leave. I'm Back With A Little Candy, A Very Late DT Card & A Blog Hop Reminder

Hello peep's,

Sorry I've been AWOL for so long, I haven't felt that poorly in ages. I felt like I was falling apart as my ears and sinus were affected as well as having tonsillitis and to finish me off I got a chest infection too, old age is cruel lol. I've been given another lot of antibiotics today so it's just the chest infection to get rid of now and I'm good to go again.

I am soooooo very late with my Paper Play DT card (sorry teamies) and I expect you all already know the challenge is "Back to school" but if not you have another day to enter.

The image I've used is from our sponsor Kenny K which I've coloured with Copics. The paper is Magnolia & some Kraft from stash, the stars are Magnolia stamps and the punch I've used is an EK Success one.

I have no idea what any challenges are so if I've time after trying to catch up with some DT commenting I'll pop back and enter some.

Snow White's A Singing & A DT Call - Addicted To Stamps DT Card

Good morning peeps,

I spent a good few hours blogging yesterday and managed to catch up with so many gorgeous blogs and finished off one of the commissioned cards I need to make. Hubby had a right grump on as his cricket match was cancelled again due to the weather so I listened to his huffing and sighing for ages before I told him off and headed for some peace in my craft room, honestly aren't men like kids or is it just mine lol.

For my card today I have inked up my favourite Whiff Of Joy stamp from the Fall stamp club. I've never bought this stamp club before & was really worried if I'd like it or not after not liking the last Magnolia stamp club very much & I still haven't even cut the rubber, so I breathed a big sigh of relief when I saw them and looking at the little sneak peek I may have to buy the next one too lol.

Tilda's Got A Cold Bottom! - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello peeps,

Where has summer gone? I was so cold last night I switched the heating on for an hour which is madness in mid August!

Apologies for not making it round to many of you the last couple of days & thank you so much for your well wishes for my mum, she is still in hospital but despite being sick she looks amazingly well. We've no idea yet when mum will be able to go home, but I do know she'll have hours of all her soap operas to catch up on as she hasn't even seen a TV since she was taken into hospital on Friday night & she does love her soaps lol.

Pretty As A Princess - Totally Tilda DT Card

Good morning peeps,

Apologies for being so late with my DT card today, I had one of those nights where I was clock watching until after 5am and must have nodded of to sleep sometime after that & then overslept & woke at 9.30am! It would be on a day when I've a hundred and one things to do, and my poor mommy has been admitted to hospital with heart problems so I'll be racing around like a mad woman before going to visit her this afternoon.

Best Fishes - Paper Play DT Card

Good morning peeps,

Oh my word did I have a grumpy day yesterday, I didn't even want to spend time with myself I was that grumpy lol. It was 6 years yesterday since my car accident which has left me with this permanent very painful shoulder injury, I kept trying not to think about it & kept busy but those horrible memories just kept coming back, still at least that's over & done with for another year lol.

Today is new challenge day at

PAPER PLAY

& this week our challenge is to

CREATE YOUR OWN DP (DESIGNER PAPER)

Eeke no pretty papers, at least I didn't have to brace myself for cutting a new sheet up lol, the shocker is I've gone Tim Hotlz style and got all inky.

To make the paper I randomly applied distressed inks using cut & dry foam and then stamped the fish from the Best Fishes stamp set on to my DIY paper using faded jeans distressed ink. Across the middle panel I have stamped some Magnolia shells with vintage photo distressed ink, as well as distressing the paper edges with vintage photo.

As my papers ended up being quite bold & bright I have gone for strong colouring too. Note to self - make a note of the copic colours I use when playing with them.

My blogging session last night was interrupted by a little fella who wanted to play and kept attacking hubby's feet, terrorising poor Dude (dog), jumping on my laptop and whizzing around the lounge chirping, yes he makes a really funny chirping sound when he's full of mischief lol.

I think we do forget sometimes that Diddly's only 18 months old as he's so big compared to naughty little Daisy Mae, so I tipped his toy basket out and spent ages sat on the floor playing with him, he loves the beads he stole off the Christmas tree lol.

I'm off to the craft shop this morning with Ali, I've got to be good as I put myself on a spending diet as I'm fast running out of storage space and I've so many stamps that haven't been inked it's ridiculous, obviously if I need any "essentials" I will have to buy them lol.
