Merry Christmas - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello peeps,

Hubby has been away for a couple of days taking one of his residents away on a mini break and I have actually caught up with a few crafty makes on my to do list and caught up with lots of blogging friends :)

I often get asked how long a card takes me to make and the honest answer is hours! I'm not one of these people who can knock out several cards a day, for one I never sit still long enough & if I don't have a particular stamp or papers in mind that I want to use it's a task in itself trying to decide lol. I also fiddle & rearrange embellies for a ridiculous amount of time, & I wander off and potter around the house or garden, the dogs usually need a run in the field at some point during the card making process as I can't cope with those big brown eyes pleading with me to take them out, and then my shoulder will need a rest, I'll need coffee & then there's the unexpected visitors who also need coffee, sound familiar or am I just a real fidget who tries to do twenty different things at once which is why a card takes me forever to make lol.

Mini Candy

Hello peeps,

Apologies for my blog suddenly going so quiet, I've spent a few days tucked up in bed feeling really rubbish or holding my head over a bucket vomiting for England lol. I got up for a couple of hours yesterday & shuffled to the sofa still in my pj's, but today I am dressed & have managed to keep small sips of drink inside me, & I know I'm feeling better as I've noticed all the housework that needs doing which I was oblivious to yesterday, I don't have the energy to do anything about it today but thinking about it is a start lol.

I wasn't able to join my lovely Addicted To Stamps teamies on Sunday as to be honest cards never even entered my head, and unfortunately I can't join my lovely Simon Says Stamp or Paper Play teamies this week either due to my nice quiet crafting weekend I had planned not happening, so instead of a DT card I have a surprise mini candy to share :)

We're So Trendy - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello peeps,

I had a right telling off from nurse Marion yesterday, I only went for my asthma check up & after discussing the pro's & con's of the Kindle v books, Marions holiday to Africa etc, we started talking about the amount of insect bites people are suffering this year & I mentioned I have a big nasty bite on my back & two small one's on my good shoulder that I'm keeping an eye on as I think they are infected, & how annoyed I was that I can't sling my handbag over my shoulder as it's too sore. With that Marion had my top pulled up inspecting my back & launched into a full on telling off for not seeing the doctor straight away as apparently a lot of people have been admitted to hospital this year from insect bites. I couldn't help but sit there giggling at sweet natured, softly spoken old Marion having a rant before disappearing out the door, I never knew she had it in her lol. Marion returned with a doctor who also told me off & has given me antibiotics as yes they are infected & I have a temperature although I don't feel poorly at all just a bit achy & hot & cold from time to time. The one on my back is a horsefly bite and on my shoulder they are mosquito bites so I guess I'm looking a bit tasty at the moment lol. Beware the bugs peeps and beware sweet little old nurses lol.

Totally Tilda DT Card & Paper Play DT cards

Good morning peeps,

I must have a catch up with a DT card again, oops my bad lol. 

I needed to spend some time with my baby girl as she has been through such a hard time lately & she had to go to court a few days ago & give evidence against a thug which was truly awful. Unfortunately he had a brilliant barrister & the prosecution barrister was just not in his league he was far too nice & the thug got away with it, so naturally Jodie & the other girls brave enough to testify against him were really, really upset. Lots of tears & hugs later she's starting to feeling better about it, I'm sure it won't be too long before he's back in court again and gets the right verdict next time.

Anyway onto much nicer things my baby sister is coming to visit today & I can't wait to see her :)
