Gone Fishing! - Totally Tilda DT Card

Hello lovely peeps,
I am loving this beautiful weather we have at the moment, glorious sunshine and barely a cloud in the sky & I have been on a crazy cleaning spree :)
My house smells lovely, the aromas change from room to room, bees wax polish, Sweet Pea disinfectant, bleach, citrus floor cleaner & Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner, yum lol.
Why the cleaning spree when the sun has been shining? I always clean like a lunatic when I'm stressed & I'm feeling slightly stressed, no make that very stressed! My baby girl & hubs set off this morning for their holiday in Barcelona with friends from the Harley club & as aeroplanes don't allow motorbikes on board they are on a boat & as some of you know I hate boats, boats terrify me & the thought of all those fish swimming about beneath them is enough to send me into complete meltdown lol..
First of all I had the motorbike trauma with me shouting at Jodie (not that she could hear me) to hold on to hubby as they roared off down the road on his beloved bike & the naughty girl had both arms up in the air waving at me smiling & laughing.
Right now they are on that boat & are five hours & twenty one minutes into their eighteen & a half hour boat journey to Santander :( Brittany Ferries is on my favourites list so I can track that darn boat while they will be on it & they both have strict instructions to wear life jackets at all times and to sleep in the life boat lol. Can you tell I hate boats & won't be sleeping tonight lol.
Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnight our challenge is
TOMBOY TILDA

We are waving a sad goodbye to some of my lovely Tilda teamies as it's a new term & we also have some fabulous new teamies to welcome.
One of my new teamies is still a real shocker for me as my lovely friend Elaine who once upon a time wasn't a Tilda fan has been converted & is now a Tilderette so job done Elaine's nicely brainwashed lol.
On today's card I have finally got around to inking a couple more neglected Magnolia stamps, sweet little Tilda Gone Fishing and the Sea background from 2008 which I have changed & coloured it as a lake instead of the sea with grass around it as I thought grass would go better than sand on this card.
The copic colours I've used are -
Tilda - skin - E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, top - C3, C1, C00, dungarees - B93, B91, BG10, boots -W4, W2, W00, basket - E53, E51, E50, fishing rod - B99, B95, B91 / R59, R39 / C1, C0
Reeds - E37, E35, E31 / YG99, YG95, YG91
Grass - YG67, YG63, YG61, YG23, 0 / G40, G43, G21, G82, YG63, YG01, 0
This little card is available in my Etsy shop if anyone is interested :)

Yesterday was our little Casey Violets (great niece) first birthday and that dear little maid has such a happy nature, she took the hoards of party guests all in her stride & there was a lot of us at her party.
Here she is with Auntie Jodie finding it hilarious me telling her to keep her hands off my camera lol.
Time to put my feet up and have a hop around if I can manage to sit still, it's taken me all day to write my post as I keep getting up & cleaning things that don't need cleaning & tracking that flipping boat lol.

If Friends Were Flowers - Simon Says Stamp DT Card & Party Invitations

Good afternoon lovely peeps,
I have been so incredibly tired, I sit down ready to blog, switch on & zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, o.k sometimes I don't think I even manage to switch on lol.
One more long day shift to go & I am on two weeks holiday, hubs & Jode will be riding off to Spain with the Harley club & I will hopefully be doing exactly as I please, well except for when the pups nag for a walk that is as I can't resisit those big brown eyes lol.
You may have caught a sneak peek at my post last night when I started to write it! I think Daisy Mae (cat) might have kindly published my post when she jumped up for a cuddle & I was far too busy kissing & cuddling her to realise lol.
Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is
ANYTHING GOES

My lovely teamies & I are featuring Craftwork Cards products on our cards this week, if you have any we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge :)
I've given Tilda the week off and inked up a cute Uptown Girl for a change & also ditched the design paper for that lovely Simon woodgrain cardstock & was so happy to see it's also available in kraft now so obviously I had to pop a pack in my basket :)
I sat looking at my pile of unopened Tilda's on my desk at the weekend & I realised I haven't coloured up any from the latest collection yet! Deary me that needs rectifying lol.

Make It Monday - anything goes

I have also been a busy girl making birthday party invitations as my gorgeous great-niece little Casey will soon be one year old :)
I've been seeing clouds, banners & balloons in my sleep I've die cut that many lol. I'm not having much luck with technology at the moment as my all in one printer & scanner has died on me which was especially annoying as I couldn't personalise the front or print out the inserts. I did contemplate getting out my alphabet stamps & stamping them for one crazy split second & then thank goodness a little bit of common sense kicked in as that would have taken me hours or even days lol.
The only variation in the invitations is I have used both of Simon's exclusive Tilted Banner dies to save me a little time with die cutting as the dies are joined so I could cut two at a time, & those lovely clouds which keep on appearing my cards are also an exclusive Simon die :)
A big sigh of relief was had when I had twenty gorgeous little Casey's smiling at me, aww :)
I really must remember CAS is the way to go when short of time & for bulk orders, will I never learn lol.
That's me done for today lovely peeps, thanks for stopping by
