Die-Cember Feature & A Shabby Chic Heart

Hello lovely peeps,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
As a few of my friends already know my family has had a pretty tough week and most definitely not the Christmas we were hoping for as hubby suffered a stroke last Sunday morning. Hubs is being transferred to a specialist Stroke rehabilitation unit tomorrow morning which unfortunately will mean travelling further to visit him but at least he will be receiving the expert care he needs.
I did get spoilt with crafty stash for Christmas, hubs bought me 15 new Magnolia's and my DT spend from my lovely friends at Simon Says Stamp arrived and that also has new Magnolia's & Doo Hickey's inside it, I seriously cannot wait to find time to get inking and playing :)

Today on the fabulous
I have the huge honor of  having a little creation of mine featured in the
celebrations, and I am featuring Magnolia Doo Hickey's.
Here is a little sneak peek -
Please hop over to the Simon Says Stamp Store Blog I'd love to know what you think of my creation and don't forget to leave a comment to be in with the chance of winning a lovely goodie bag :)

As my playtime is limited at the moment I thought I'd also share with you a little something I created as a gift for my Great Nephew & Niece's mummy for Christmas.
Sammie loves "shabby chic" so I decorated a wicker heart and then sprayed painted it all with a light coating of paint for that lovely shabby look.
I have temporarily deactivated my Etsy shop listings as looking after hubs has to be my priority and as soon as life settles again and returns to some sort of "normality" I will add some new goodies.
That's it from me tonight peeps, sorry it's a flying visit & thanks for stopping by

Hello lovely peeps,
The weather here today is vile! We've got heavy rain & gale force winds and I'm sooooooo happy that I have a day off today & I can snuggle on the sofa with my tens machine and heat pillow on my poor shoulder. I love being at home on days like this :) My Christmas tree lights are twinkling, I'm warm & cozy, so very tired & fighting the urge to close my eyes as I have a huge pile of unopened parcels in need of sorting and wrapping & a pile of cards needing writing & posting. Guess who's worked way too many hours this past week but I am determined today I am finally going to get myself organised for Christmas :)

On to today's cards, I say cards as I have a few to share & -

Falling Snow stencil & Layered Tree with Woodgrain cardstock.
