From Your Friend - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello lovely peeps,
I'm running a little late today as I've just dropped Jodie & hubs off in town & hadn't finished writing my post, so I will get straight down to business!

 It's Wednesday which means ..........

 at
& this week our challenge is
ANYTHING GOES
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog
My lovely teamies and I are featuring
products on our cards this week, if you have any we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge.
Don't forget you can enter our challenge 5 times and there is no limit to how many challenges you combine your entry with :)
I've gone shabby chic with this card and have been distressing and painting some Gesso on pretty much everything which I thought was perfect for the gorgeous soft colours of these Melissa Frances papers. I love these papers so much that I bought two packs :)

Today I am featuring a lovely stamp set from Clearly Besotted called "You & I"
I knew I "needed" this set for my stamp collection as soon as I saw it as I like to personalise my cards for people who are special to me.

Pretty Gardenia's

Good morning peeps,
I thought it was high time I sorted myself out and got back into the swing of blogging properly again, so today I have a card to share with a pretty image which felt like it took forever to colour! It was nice to challenge myself and colour something more complicated than those sweet little Magnolia's that I love even though it felt like I had to keep refocusing my eyes at times lol.
The digital image is by the very talented Aurora Wings. I have seen this pretty image on many cards placed at four different angles and I decided to flip mine and have her laying from the left as this worked best for my card layout.
I've added some pearls to the image using my pearl pen to add some dimension and of course there is some lovely sparkle on the flowers. The papers are by Maja Designs, I'm sure I've told you already that I love Maja Design papers :)

The copic colours I've used are -
E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E43, E41, E40, flowers - R85, R83, R81 / RV97, RV95, RV93, leaves G94, YG95, YG93, YG91

I'm entering my card I the following challenges -
Fairytale Stampers - flowers, Jellypark Friends - bling it up, Pile It On - hearts & / or flowers, Crafty Creations - Something Old (papers), Something New (image), Craft-Dee BowZ - anything goes with hand tied bow, Crafting From The Heart - anything goes, Craft Your Passion - anything goes, Crafty Boots - butterflies, Dream Valley - anything goes

I've even added a few more items to my little Etsy store including this card, and more items will be added soon :)
