goodies on our cards. You don't have to use them to enter our challenge but we'd love to see them if you do.
For today's card I have definitely been flower happy! As we are featuring Ranger products this week I wanted to create something different than the usual bold coloured inky creations that I for one associate Ranger products with, so I have chosen the complete opposite!

I have used Ranger's lovely staggered brickwork stencil with embossing paste & I have added some white Gesso over the top of the paste once it dried to highlight my stencil work. The papers have been lightly distressed using Old Paper distress ink & scissors, and I've blended Milled Lavender distress ink over white card stock using Ranger's ink blending tool before die cutting Simon's pretty butterflies & punching some hydrangeas.

Come Rain Or Shine - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
We've had some beautiful Spring weather here in the South West & I've been busy in the garden tidying, pruning & planting. I love the Spring when everything starts coming to life & looks pretty again :)
My voice is really husky & deep at the moment as the lurgy is going around again! That's one of the "perks" of working in a care environment the germs just seem to do an endless circle between staff and residents!

I have chosen the "shine" theme for my card and have used Avery Elle's lovely letters stamps for part of my sentiment which I've stamped on Simon's flat bottom clouds, and I've also used Simon's lovely Sunshine die for the remainder of my sentiment. I was annoyed that I have lost my little letter "y" from the Avery Elle set so improvised and stamped the letter "h" upside down. It's not as nice and swirly as the letter "y" but it works :)

Stamping Bella's cute "Amanda is Awesome" is coloured with copics and the sky has been coloured with chalks. I've added some lovely sparkle to the Prima flower & for the small flowers I've used my favourite Martha Stewart punch.

The copic colours I've used are -
skin - E11, E00, E000, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes -Y15, Y11, Y000 / C3, C1, C00, bench - W6, W4, W2, W0, grass - G43, G40, G20
