Good afternoon lovely peeps!
I've been feeling the urge to create the last few days & was getting so annoyed with still not managing to spend very long at my desk due to my sciatica pain so have been spending time colouring when I've needed a rest, & trying hard not to be grumpy lol.

Technique Tuesday

   goodies on our cards. You don't have to use them to enter our challenge but we'd love to see them if you do.

Today's card features a Technique Tuesday stamp set called "Today Flower" & I've stamped the sentiment onto one of Simon's lovely Tilted Banners. I've punched lots of sweet Hydrangea flowers and added for my usual favourite pretty butterflies & a large Prima flower.

The copic colours I've used are -

RV95, RV93, RV91 / G94, G43, G40

Fun With Felt! - Simon Says Stamp DT

I am running a little late today so I will get straight down to business!

   goodies on our cards. You don't have to use them to enter our challenge but we'd love to see them if you do.

 

For this challenge I have used Simon's lovely Plush Charmed Heart wafer dies from the lovely Spring Plush release along with various coloured felt.

Don't worry & think you can't use these dies as you aren't great at sewing as these dies do pretty much all the work for you :) You just need to thread your needle and sew along the die cut holes so all the stitches are perfectly neat & even.

The white hanging heart was inspired by my lovely Emma Bridgewater pottery heart baker.

I die cut two hearts in white felt & also one in white card which I sandwiched between the felt hearts before sewing to make it more sturdy, & I added a seed bead to each stitch before adhering the hearts.

My pink heart is padded as I wanted to make it into a pin cushion & I've die cut several of the embellishment dies which are in this set before using a blanket stitch to edge this little heart. 

I also have a card to share with you today which I created for a custom order.

I created a wedding card for this couple last year and my customer was so pleased with it that he wanted a special handmade card for their first wedding anniversary as well.

I've used one of Simon's lovely butterflies on this card along with the anniversary sentiment, & their names were computer generated.

The techniques I used on this card were punching, die cutting & embossing & I gently inked my paper edges with distress ink for that pretty tinge of blue.

Apologies the photos aren't the best I struggled to take these as quickly as possible when I hurt my back.
