Anything Goes - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

Christmas is fast approaching and I am off into town this afternoon to buy the last of the presents I need to buy before it gets too manic and busy as I'm not the most patient person when I'm on a mission lol. I can spend hours creating one card and have all the patience needed for that but me and shopping is another matter hahaha.

This week I have created a masculine card featuring several fabulous Tim Holtz products including those lovely Crazy Cats stamps which I have coloured with my copics.

I have stamped my image and die cut it with Simon's Nested Circles dies using the out of the nestie technique, and then framed it with Simon's lovely Birthday Circle wafer die.

The background has been created using Dyan Reaveley Staggered Brickwork stencil  and Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain, Tea Dye, Frayed Burlap & Old Paper distress inks.

The corrugated card is recycled from a parcel and similar can be found here. I have added a variety of embellishments, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Film Strip Ribbon, an Idea-ology Metal Hardware corner, May Arts Ivory twine, Glossy Accents & a few drops of Black Nuvo Crystal Drops.

The copic colours I've used are -

C3, C1, C00 / N7, N5, N3 / R30, R20.

  Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided tape, Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Card Stock, Tonic Guillotine, Aleene's Tacky Glue, Cuttlebug, X Press copic blending card, Ink Blending Tool & Kool Tak foam pads.

This week I have created a card featuring Mama Elephants Little Reindeer Stamp Set  & I have coloured the cute reindeer's with my copics & then fussy cut them.

My base card is die cut using Simon Says Stamps 3 Sided Scallop wafer die, & I've created the background using Simon's A2 Curved Edge craft die to make a template & then blended Weathered Wood distress ink over my template to create the hills. 

The sentiment is from Simon's Holiday Envelope Sentiments stamp set and I have paired it with Simon's lovely You die.

The copic colours I've used are -

E44, E43, E41 / E47, E44, E42 / C2, C00/ R59, R39, R29 / B21, B41.

This week I have created a CAS card & I'm featuring Newton Nook's Ornamental Newton stamp set. I have coloured this cute image with my copics & I drew a line across the pine needles branch die cut to give the impression the bauble is hanging from the branch.

Snow White! - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

I had a lovely day shopping at the NEC craft show on Sunday & came home with lots of bags of gorgeous goodies to play with & a much lighter purse lol.

This week I am featuring these adorable Smitten Mitten Dies Set, there is also a Smitten Mittens Stamps Set to accompany them or as you can see they can be used alone.

The background has been created using Taylored Expressions Twinkling Holiday embossing folder matted onto Simon's White Glittered Card Stock. I have die cut the cute mittens using Simon's lovely White Woodgrain Card Stock & popped these onto my card using foam pads, then die cut the trim in Simon's White Glitter Card Stock & adhered these to my mittens.

I die cut the Snow sentiment from Simon's Winter Snow dies set a few times & layered 4 together to create some more dimension.  added some of  Simon's pretty Stitched Snowflakes  & Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White & Crystal Glaze to finish.
