Oooo yummy - Addicted To Stamps DT Card

Hello peeps,

I'm back yaaaaayyyyyy, well sort of anyway! Yesterday afternoon that lovely green light started flickering on and off on the router, oh what a lovely sight that was after not seeing it since we lost the internet connection on Monday. It isn't working as it should as the connection keeps going & it's taking ages to leave comments and write my post because of this, but anything is better than nothing and I can eat muffins and drink coffee while writing my post on a nice clean computer lol. My poor neighbours still have no sign of theirs coming back yet but fingers crossed it all gets back to normal soon.

OMG I have trawled through hundreds of emails, thank god I ordered & paid for my Magnolia Summer stamp club weeks ago or I'd have missed the last chance to order & wouldn't have been a happy bunny at all, I did miss the 25% off Magnolia stamps sale at The Glitterpot though grrrrrr, probably just as well really lol.

Today is new challenge day at

ADDICTED TO STAMPS

& this fortnight our challenge is

SUMMERTIME

a perfect excuse to ink up a new Maggie, as if I ever need one lol.

Ingredients -

Image - Magnolia

Medium - distressed inks

Papers - Raspberry Road

Flowers - Kort & Godt, Prima & Wild Orchid

Lace - The Ribbon Girl

Sentiment - Wild Rose Studio

I've distressed all the paper edges with Picket Fence crackle paint & added a couple of Magnolia Doo Hickey butterflies, I do love these in case you hadn't noticed lol. The leaf branch thingy die was a birthday present from my lovely friend Liz, and the pin I've made using a Whiff Of Joy pin head and some pearl beads.

I haven't a clue what challenges I will enter yet as I don't know what any are, I'll pop back and enter when I've had a chance to take a peek at some.

Thankfully I did managed to make some use of the time without any internet and got a couple of DT cards made and most importantly dodged the showers and got my summer flowers all planted up as I'm so late planting them this year.

I've a busy day ahead today, my nephew, his girlfriend and baby Ollie are all visiting this morning and then I'm off to a craft show with Ali later :) We have both done the usual and said we only want to buy card! Hmmm I wonder if we'll manage a first and actually stick to that once we get there lol.
