Good morning peeps,
It's beautiful here again today, I do love the gorgeous weather we are having at the moment. I enjoyed a bit of a potter in my garden yesterday & then went and grabbed my copics and spent a couple of hours sat in the garden colouring, it's so pretty out there now and it's really relaxing just listening to the waterfall in the pond while colouring, it would be silly not to enjoy it while we can.
Today is new challenge day at
this challenge we have a lovely girlie recipe for you
and of course a little Tilda must be on there too.
We wave a sad bye bye to our lovely Corry & Trisha this challenge so our Susie has invited two of her friends Hazel & Jacqui to join us Tilda girls. Pop over to Totally Tilda & welcome our two new girlies and see the beautiful cards they have made.
This was the first card I have really enjoyed making in a few weeks and everything just seemed to fall into place easily once I had plucked up the courage to cut the gorgeous papers, but shock horror there is NO glitter and NO butterflies, gasp, lol.
Ingredients -
Medium - distressed inks
Papers - Pion
Flowers - Prima, Kort & Godt & Wild Orchid
Fancy Corners - e-crafts online
Pearls - Melissa Frances
Tools - Whiff Of Joy mini tag, Magnolia Doo Hickey heart swirls, MS Eyelet lace PATP
I've stamped some little Tapestry Stamps for the grass, these were a real bargain at a local craft show and I got them half price and forgot I'd bought them until I discovered them in a box the other day.
Has anyone else noticed what's wrong with this image? Tilda's dungarees have no straps so heaven knows how the bib stays up lol.
These swirls thingies are a new favourite buy of mine and are a Marianne Creatable die, you will be seeing lots more of these on future cards.
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Oldie But A Goodie - sketch, Crafty Ann's - summertime, Just Magnolia - buttons, bows & blooms, Miami Doodles - flowers, Stamp Something - summer fun, If The Shoe Fits - summer, Sew Many Cards - anything goes, Divas By Design - summer, Little Darlings - girly, Stampavie & More - summer, Truly Scrumptious - buttons & bows, Delightful Challenges - summer heat, The Crop Stop - lace, Craft Us Crazy - anything goes, 7 Kids College Fund - texture, Anything Goes - flowers, Everybody Art - garden, Magnolia Mania - ribbon / lace, Top Tip Tuesday - girlie, Magnolia Down Under - bingo, (Doo hickeys, ribbon & flowers)
Before I go a little reminder that if you haven't already entered my July candy & want to it ends tonight at 8pm.
I am hoping for a nice relaxing crafty few days as hubby is working long days everyday except for on our wedding anniversary tomorrow and is also taking the young man he keyworks away for a couple of days holiday so fingers crossed I can play guilt free lol.
Thanks for stopping by
Mandy, your card is gorgeous. The newe creatable from Marianne Design is also one on my wishlist.

So Mandy... I was studying your card because I LOVE it so much, and would like to know where you either bought or made the light purple swirls and squiggly things popping out around the flower bunch in the lower left-hand corner. They look like they must be die cuts because some of them look to have been made out of checked gingham paper. I also really like the light purple flower in that bunch... (the one that looks like a carnation, not the mini roses). I LOVE learning how to make flowers and other embellishments. Of course your Tilda is beautifully colored. I just love the whole card! :)
