Good morning peeps,
I am not talking about hubby's new baby today as that dragon & that Mr Stacey are in my bad books, no make that very bad books & my poor nerves are shot to pieces lol.
What shall I waffle about instead of my traumatic incidents, ummmmm, my car is poorly so I couldn't go shopping & just when I need chocolate most to settle my nerves, how flipping typical lol.
Today is new challenge day at
PAPER PLAY
& this week I have set the challenge which is
2 OR MORE STAMPED IMAGES
I have inked up a couple of sweet Magnolia's that I have had sat in one of my drawers all neglected and unloved for that long I can't even remember buying them, shocking lol.
I am going to spend some time sorting through my baskets & drawers of stamps and put all the ones I still haven't used in a box, or maybe two boxes, awaiting an inking & try really hard to resist buying anymore until I've used at least half of them, says the woman who opened another package of the new release LOTV's yesterday, & why the heck did I need them I haven't even inked the first launch yet, madness lol.
Ingredients -
Medium - Copics
Flowers - Kort & Godt & Wild Orchid
Pearls - Melissa Frances
Sparkle - stardust stickles
Papers - home made
Tools - Magnolia Doo Hickeys - Old Swedish Lace & Heart Swirls, Marianne Creatables Decorative Elegance, MS Cherish PATP
To make the papers I randomly stamped the very small Bee's from the Chasing Butterflies collection & the Bumble Bee from the Sweet Rainbow collection on the back of some old designer papers that I didn't like & were left over in a pad, then I inked the paper all over with scattered straw distress ink & cut and dry foam, and then coloured each bee in using Copics, this was when I regretted stamping so many lol.
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
TOMIC - make your own background, Midnight Madness - fabby sketch, Make It Monday - anything goes, iCopic - glitter, The Pixie Cottage - mellow yellow
I'm off to call the RAC & sit down for a good blogging session while I'm waiting for a nice man to hopefully come and fix my car.
Thanks for stopping by
beautifully coloured image! Fabulous arrangement too!

ReplyDeleteHi I just love this stamp, colouring is so perfect love the shading. All those busy bees were worth colouring in as it is a great idea looks like papers you would buy !! I hope you didn't wait too long to get your car fixed !! As for hubbys pet I was exactly the same when my fella went through the turantula phase !! EEEEWWWW crickets I liked thier sound but to touch them no no no ! It was actually the noise of the crickets that annoyed him that much that he gave them away to friend ! I was so relieved. I have seen the bearded dragons in pet shops and they are stunning ! Go girl at least you did feed him/her Kitty ;0)
