Hello peeps & Happy Christmas to you all,
The last 2 days in my house have been soooooooo busy, 6 new Magnolia stamps arrived on Friday morning & I still haven't even got around to inking them up which shows it's been a mad house lol.
Ali & I popped to church for our usual Carols around the crib sing song on Christmas Eve & they only had a real donkey that they were attempting to get into the church which had me in a bit of a panic as I love them but need to pop antihistamines & inhalers before I can go near a horse/donkey as I'm alergic to them & it amused Ali no end & she was willing that donkey to come in, it's wonderful to have such a supportive friend lol.
Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnight our challenge is
e.g - NewYear, Home, Baby etc
I haven't had time to finish the card I had planned on using so instead I am sharing a creation I made for an ex DT teamie as it fits the New Year theme. To be honest I freaked out when I saw the name that was picked for me to make something for as the her style couldn't be more different from mine so I did try & keep it as plain as possible & I didn't even use glitter, lace, or roses, it's all wrong I tell you, I just hope she doesn't hate it too much lol.
Ingredients -
Image & Sentiment - Magnolia
Medium - Copics
Paper - K & Co, a gift from lovely Mummy x
Calendar - Anita's
Tools - MS PATP, Woodware mini butterfly punch, Magnolia Doo Hickey heart swirls, EK Success mini flower punch
Yesterday my lovely Simon Says Stamp teamie Debby invited everyone to share their 5 favourite Christmas cards of 2011, as I didn't make it to blogland yesterday I will share mine today
I'm going to whizz through these now and predictably there is a Tilda or 4 among them lol.
I am really critical about my own cards and for once this little card just kind of fell into place I was actually pleased with it when I eventually decided which embeilles to add lol.
I really enjoyed making this little card with Herb on & I made this with my lovely Auntie Jenny & Uncle Pete in mind
This little gift bag & book card took hours to make, Jodie loved them so to me that's time well spent
This little Tilda book card went off down the motorway to my baby sis and was another I really enjoyed making, then again give me any Magnolia stamp to play with and I'm happy lol
Finally this little card is was for a lovely lady and one Gareth asked me to make, little Tilda is adorable & oooooh just look at all those scrummy embellies lol.
Thant's me done peeps, I'm off to have a play with my new Copic sketch pens my lovely mommy bought me :)
Thanks for stopping by
