Good morning peeps,
I scared myself yesterday!!! Hubby & I had the day to ourselves as Jode was working & Gareth was babysitting little Ollie so hub's suggested postponing taking my strong painkillers & popping into town for a KFC. Mmmm how could I refuse especially as it was my turn to cremate something for tea lol. I finished off my online shopping treat before heading for town, lots of Pion Papers, 2 x Magnolia stamps & some dies :)
Trip into town just for KFC resulted in -
KFC + 2 pairs of jeans, belt, slippers, perfume, & 4 x chic lit books (me), 2 x T-shirts, 1 x 3/4 length shorts (hubby), paint (kitchen - not planned but I liked the colour!), 24 piece dinner set + 2 extra dinner plates + 3 x dips bowls, jug, whisk (just because it was pink!), cat treats, 4 pints of milk, giant Cadburys buttons (I love them), recycling food caddy bags, bubble bath, deodorant, mixed baby leaf salad, oh and some choc chip muffins :)
As we left Sainsburys & headed for the car I was a bit miffed that hubby wasn't holding my hand any more & it suddenly dawned on me that he was laden down with all these bags, a tin of pain, a big box of crockery, milk etc while I was toddling along beside him just carrying my handbag so I thought it best not to complain, good job he's strong lol. Driving home I had an OMG moment & scared myself, how much money had he let me spend £££££££££££££££££££££££ he's so irresponsible lol, I needed a lie down after my scare but I had a lovely time & thank goodness I paid cash so it won't scare me again seeing my unintended spree on my bank statement lol.
To top my day off I came home & sat on my door mat in the porch waiting for me was another Special Tilda ooooh lovely :)
Are you all still with me after all that waffle, if so I'll get down to business.
Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnights challenge is
Ingredients -
Image - Magnolia, she's a Special girlie & only available HERE
Medium - Copics
Papers - Raspberry Road
Flowers - Prima, Magnolia & Wild Orchid
Lace - The Ribbon Girl
Heart Doily - Royal Lace
Tools - MS Cherry Blossom PATP, Magnolia Doo Hickey swirls, heart & heart swirls, nesties, Cheery Lyn butterfly, white spray paint, Tim Holtz picket fence crackle paint.
Apologies for not knowing the Copic colours today I coloured the images a couple of months ago. As you can see I've gone really shabby chic on this card & distressed pretty much everything, I made this card when Ali & I had our craft day a couple of weeks ago & it was an experiment for us both to have a play with spray paint, tip - wear gloves as we ended up with white hands.
The pin is homemade, the cheesecloth is a pressie from a lovely friend and the sparkle is glamour dust paint
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Allsorts - 1 or more hearts, Craft Your Days Away - distressing, Crazy 4 Challenges - layer it on, Corrosive - I heart You, Magnolia Stamp Lovers - twine, The Drunken Stampers - use something new (stamp & heart die), The Poodles Parlour - Valentines/love, Simply Create Too - love is in the air, Stempelsonne - Valentine, Craft Us Crazy - Valentine/love, Moving Along With The Times - blooming marvellous, Inspire Me Fridays & Make It Monday - anything goes linky party
You'll be pleased to know after that very long post I'm done peeps, I'll be back for a blogging session soon, I'm just "popping" out to buy a crusty loaf & some suet as it's stew for dinner today :) I think I will just take a fiver with me and leave my purse at home lol.
Thanks for stopping by
