Good morning peeps,
I don't know where the last few days have gone! Ali & I had a craft day on Thursday which was lovely, full of the usual waffle & gossip & I'm sure it was the first time we didn't end up yelling at each other, or did we, we do it so much I loose track lol.
I had the bright idea of "cataloguing" my Magnolia stamps by stamping them all twice (one for reference & one for masking) & storing the images in a folder according to type e.g standing Tilda's, sitting Tilda's, backgrounds etc to make it easy for me to see them as several times I have bought duplicates not realising I already have them, but I had a bit of a shock when I realised what a mammoth task that will be! Four hours in after lots of "aaaah she's pretty" and black hands from the ink I think I'm almost half way through stamping my standing Tilda's, and I think I may need to buy a bigger folder lol.
Today I have a card to share which is my
DT card & this fortnight our challenge is
I am also blogging my card as a midway reminder for
as there is one week left to play in our challenge
Ingredients -
Images - Indian Tilda, Elephant, hanging leaves, Fairytale butterfly, mini world large butterfly, & Tilda's butterfly, all by Magnolia
Medium - Copics
Papers - Magnolia
Flowers - Magnolia & Wild Orchid
Seam Binding & Button - The Ribbon Girl
Sparkle - crystal glamour dust
Fancy Corner - e-crafts online
I wanted to give Tilda's skin a darker colour to make her look more authentic, & for those that want them here are the Copic colours -
skin - E15, E13, E11, E00, R85, R83, hair - C7, C5, C3, C0, Sari - RV63, RV00, RV000, RV0000, elephant - C3, C1, C00, C000, R85, R81, leaves - G94, G85, G91, butterflies - RV55, RV02, RV00, GOO, B52
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
TOMIC - Tina's sketch & fabric (cheesecloth)
Card Makin' Mamas - something old ( all stamps)
As I have been a terrible blogger while battling the side effects of my new painkillers & you have been so lovely leaving me encouraging comments I have a little thank you to share which is more mini candy, a brand new Belles & Whistles stamp
Fairy Wishes
There is no need to advertise it peeps just leave me a comment to let me know you want to be entered in the draw and I will announce the winner in a few days.
I have changed my comments to the pop up box as some peeps said they are having problems with the embedded comments, trust me to be different I've had problems with pop up's lol.
I am off to put the heating back on, it's soooooooo cold here today.
Thanks for stopping by
I would love to be entered into this gorgeous mini candy - thank you so much.

ReplyDeleteWow - love you bright colors of blue and pink ! Have never seen those stamps before (it's been a while since I bought Magnolia, kind of trying to use the ones I have - while I still remember what I have... LOL). "Cataloguing" the stamps is always a good idea. I have but my mounted stamps on the wall on small shelves, but the unmounted is a different story. Having them mainly in black binders bought from Sunday Int (but I think they are no longer manufactured) and labeled outside, but...
ReplyDeleteWould very much like to get a ticket in your lovely give-away. Thanks for the chance. (I have a candy too if you want to join)
Have a nice Sunday !
:-) Nina
