Hello peeps,
Thank you so much for the lovely emails I've had asking if I'm o.k, as you can see I am back on my poor neglected blog after being a poorly girl & thankfully feeling sooooooo much better, I'm just feeling a bit shaky from the steroids & wiped out but raring to catch up & get inking & colouring again :)
I have decided to take a month's break from my design teams work except for my weekly Simon Says Stamp DT to ease the pressure from all the DT commenting & deadlines for cards etc, and give myself a chance to recover properly & just do a bit of whatever I want to really, have a play at making those things I keep meaning to try but never seem to have enough time & more importantly catching up with you, my lovely blog visitors :)
Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is
I have at last got around to inking up one of my new Tilda's, OMG this collection is adorable & I've been so naughty & bought, ahem just a few lol.
Today's Tilda reminds me so much of my baby girl except for Jodie always carried her beloved "manky pillow" or anything silky she could get her hands on! I used to have to check what she had with her before we left the house as she was quite partial to anything silky feeling she could twiddle & a few times I'd strapped her in her pushchair blissfully ignorant that she was happily "twiddling" & displaying my undies to the world lol.

Pearls - Melissa Frances
Twine - Hemptique
Sentiment - Magnolia

Your card is so beautiful... made me smile to remember my daughter carrying her "Binky" every where we went! Then my Grandaughter did the same thing, but she would wear the tags out twirling them in her fingers, so I started sewing pieces of silk ribbons onto her blankets... now at 18 she collects silky ribbon bits to just twirl in her fingers!!! Glad to hear you are feeling better and taking care of yourself!

My little girl displayed my undies to the world in a whole other way. One day I was stood reading the ads in the PO window and I felt a draft, my Daughter had hoiked up my skirt and was showing anyone who cared to look tomorrow's laundry! Boy was I red...
