Ingredients -
Featured products - Cuttlebug, Vintage Corner & Divine Swirls embossing folder
Image - Cheerleader Tilda, Magnolia
Medium - Copics
Papers - Magnolia
Sentiment - Magnolia, Postmarks - Bo Bunny
Pearls - Melissa Frances
Ribbon - Diamond Net Crinoline (another neglected item, oops)
Roses - Prima
Tools - MS Cherry Blossoms PATP, frond leaf & classic 3-in-1 butterfly punches, Spellbinders fancy tag, oval nesties & floral ovals
A lot of people have emailed and asked me how I manage to get the card out of the floral oval nestie as they find the card rips as it's difficult to remove it from the die. I've also found this so I die cut it and then turn the nestie over and emboss it a couple of times on what is technically the wrong side to try to help to ease the card out of the die and then use a cocktail stick to gently poke through the nestie. It is a lot more of a palava than using a normal nestie & it does take a bit of time but the dies are pretty so I think it's worth the extra effort.

When I was out pottering in my garden I noticed Suggs (cat) was fascinated by the soak away drain by the patio & I spent ages trying to get the cover off & eventually manage to rescue this little chap who'd got stuck down there, I just hope he survives hubby's big fish as I popped him in among the pond plants.
Aww so tiny & cute, yes I think frogs are cute, is that weird lol.
A nagging friend has at last got me to join Facebook for a GDT post as the DT group I need to upload my cards in is on there. I have no idea what I am doing on there yet as I'm still having a tantrum about having to join as in my world cards belong on blogs lol, but I'm told I need to have myself verified as my blog owner for my blog to be linked to Facebook by Networked blogs!!! If anyone fancy's following me on Networked blogs so I can add it to Facebook I'd be very grateful, the box is in my sidebar, thanks peeps, & thanks for stopping by

hugs Kjersti:)
What a Fun Card. Fun to see Tilda in action... Great Colors.. And I love the sewing... I have the same oval frame from Spellbinder.. but having trouble using it.. The paper is stuck in the frame -and tearing whet trying to remove the paper... bu hu... I am sad...
ReplyDeleteI love the punched edge around the card.. Looks Amazing!!! :o)
Amazing.... This is so pretty!!! Love it ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, and beautiful creation! I love all that pink, and the sparkly skirt, and the netting bow, and...well...everything! Something else you can do to get the intricate die cuts out of the dies is to use a sheet of wax paper between the die and the cs. The paper just about pops out by itself!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the flowers, pearls and bow, and the image is colored wonderfully. Stunning. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute froggie, we hardly ever see frogs or toads here.
Hugs, Anne.
Another wonderful card:)Love this lovely Tilda:)
