Hello lovely peeps,
Did anyone watch that programme "Golden Oldies" on TV last night? It really tugged at my heart strings seeing those poor elderly people struggling for such basic living needs after all they have seen & experienced in life, if only I had a massive house I'd adopt them all so I can look after them & they wouldn't be lonely. I don't think hubby would be overly keen though, he's only just got over Christmas Day 1995 when I took our old labrador out for a walk and brought a man called Harry home to share Christmas dinner with us as I couldn't bear the thought of me going home & enjoying a Christmas dinner with my family & him being alone & having a miserable day, hubby is right I am a soft touch lol.
Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is a
AUTUMN LEAVES
AUTUMN LEAVES
Ingredients -
Images - Tilda with Autumn broom, Sunny Autumn morning, Log & Medium - Copics, Papers - My Minds Eye Lavender, The Sweetest Thing, Pearls - Hero Arts 5mm & Melissa Frances, Sentiment - Magnolia, Twine - May Arts, Bird - Studio Calico, Flowers - Prima
Tools - Simon Says Stamp small forest tree die, MS doily lace & frond leaf punches, & CC Designs 5 point flowers
Edited - one lovely lady has emailed me and asked me what the twigs are around the flowers so in case anyone else wonders they are actually the small forest tree die, I just snipped a little of the tree trunk off to make them slightly smaller & popped them among the flowers as I wanted them to look like twigs so at least I know now that idea worked & it's not just me that thinks they look like twigs now lol.
