I hope all our friends across the pond are safe after the awful hurricane Sandy, the pictures on the news are horrendous I just can't image how terrifying it must be to be in the path of a hurricane.

The days just seem to be whizzing by here & I've decided I absolutely love the internet as I've bought several Christmas presents all from the comfort of my sofa, coffee in hand, no crowds, nice and snug indoors, now that's my ideal kind of shopping lol.
I've also been spending a lot of time with Jodie at the moment, she's really struggling with coming to terms with the loss of her friend Jake, and sadly another friend Dave was repatriated yesterday so she's not having a good time at the moment.

I was looking through the shapes of my nesties and trying to decide what to make and came up with a bauble shaped card.

I've tried using soft colours on this card, more of a distressed ink look & the Copic Colours I've used are -
skin - E21, E00, E000, R20, E93, hair - E40, E41, 43, clothes - V0000, RV93, RV91 / C1, C00, Rudolph - W2, W1, W00, RV52 / E53, E51, E50

As it's taken me ages to suss out inlinz, inlinz itself was easy I just went a bit wrong when I couldn't find a couple of products that were already in the Simon Says Stamp products listed section so I'm going to combine my post, & next up is my last GDT card for Lili Of The Valley which is also shown on the lovely Ideas To Inspire blog. A big thank you to Anne for inviting me to join you ladies this month :)
As it's Halloween today I thought this little chappie would be perfect for share and his name is

The papers are Magnolia & Prima, the little star brads, ribbon & charm I've had in my stash for so long I haven't a clue where they came from.
The scrabble tiles are a free printable from fuzzimo.com which I discovered through Pinterest, if you can't find them from the website they are pinned on my Printables board, those of you not familar with Pinterest just click the pic and they will come up for you to save.I'm entering my card in the following challenges -

ReplyDeleteDouble treat today Mandy, gorgeous. Love them both. Ahhh sorry Jodie is going through this. I had the same with my daughter last year when she lost her best mate Adam. In fact he would of had his 21st yesterday, so Jade and her mates are travelling to Eastbourne on Saturday to celebrate his birthday with his family. It is sooo very sad and my heart goes out to you both.
