A Snowman, A Whale & A Tilda - Addicted To Stamps & Simon Says Stamp Artist Group DT Cards

Hello peeps & Happy Easter :)
It's been a beautiful day here today, I actually enjoyed taking the dogs out for a run & not shivering for a change & my little weather sensor in the garden told me it's a whole 5 degrees centigrade, I never knew 5 degrees could feel so warm lol
I haven't had much time for my little blog the past couple of weeks due to hubby having had what seems like most of March off of work & we've had so much going on at home with decorating, catching up with friends, having little Ollie (great nephew) to stay & Gareth's bands gigs etc. It hasn't helped that this crazy woman thought it would be a good idea to reorganise my craft room which has taken hours and hours, and guess what! I can't find a flipping thing & wish I'd left it alone lol.
Today I need a catch up so I have some DT cards to share & two of them are featuring some more lovely Simon Says Stamp new Spring exclusives. These little cards have been sat in my craft room for over a week waiting to be photographed & blogged so apologies for a long post today, there will be no more silly reorganising ideas from me for a while & I'll be giving blogging more time :)
My first card is my DT card for our new challenge at
& our new challenge is
only the image can be coloured & if you add a sentiment you can stamp your sentiment in any colour.
As always my lovely teamies have some gorgeous inspiration for you, hop over and take a peek :)
I had no idea what to make for this challenge, my mojo had completely abandoned me, so after much sighing & looking around my craft room & achieving nothing I even tried bribing my teamies by offering them Easter Eggs in return for some mojo lol. Eventually I started looking through my ArtBin full of dies & I discovered some dies I'd not yet used & the mojo our lovely NicoleTeresa kindly whooshed over to me arrived & then this little card just sort of happened lol.
It's a shame all the sparkle isn't showing up in my photo as this card is a real sparkler lol. The house and two Christmas trees at the front are Dee's Distinctively dies & the adorable snowman is a Magnolia stamp.
The copic colours I've used are -
Body - C3, C1, C00, B0000, R12, hat, scarf & gloves - B23, B21, B0000 / C1, C0, C00, buttons & nose - N9, N7, N5
My next card features some super cute Simon Says Stamp exclusives & you may look at it & think it looks a bit "young" for a 30 year old but I wanted it to be a clean looking fun card as it is for a dear little fella I used to key work who has severe learning disabilities & challenge behaviours.
The whale, anchor & stars stamps are new exclusive products designed for Simon Says Stamp by Kelly Purkey. I have stamped and then heat embossed the cute whale with clear embossing powder & I've added some lovely sparkle to the embossed dots in the background.

Last but not least I have used some more Simon Says Stamp exclusive products along with some very neglected Magnolia stamps that I bought when the Prince & Princesses Collection was released & I can't believe I haven't inked them up before now!
I've already used the new release full card Bubbles die a couple of times before & I love it, & I've also used Simon's Harrington Scroll Vine which seems to appear on most cards I make so you can tell that's a hit with me lol.
The pins are handmade and all being well I will open my Etsy shop tomorrow & have some of my pins for sale in it along with this little card if anyone is interested :)
The copic colours I've used are -
skin - E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes & bath cap - B95, B91, B00000 bath - C5, C3, C1, C00, bubbles - BG000, V000, RV000
Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday & of course your Easter Eggs :)
Thanks for stopping by

  9. A stunning trio of cards :)
I love WOW cards but never, ever make them cos I just don't know where to start!
And of course I love the Tilda (and I don't own this one so don't you be tempting me!)

I think if you've not inked up your Tildas then the Rubber Police should confiscate them under the 2013 Wilful Neglect Act, and redistribute them to someone who will pay them more attention :)

    Big hugs
    Elaine xx
