Hello lovely peeps,
Happy Mothers Day to all you mummy's out there.
I've been thoroughly spoilt with an Orchid, a Jimmy Choo perfume gift set, a few crafty embellies & money for a top I was eyeing up in Next, so I'm a very lucky girl :)
Have you ever sat and really looked around your craft room / craft area? I often sit in my little room & look around trying to figure out better storage solutions as I just have nowhere left to store goodies. I decided I'm going to have to sell some of my stamps as my baskets can take no more & I have a couple of piles of stamps needing a home & it suddenly struck me that the chest freezer & my desk which sit along one wall are roughly the same length and there's no way they are 4.5ft each long! Out came my tape measure and I made the shocking discovery that my craft room isn't 9ft"x 9ft" as I thought, it is in fact just under 7ft x7ft, so who stole my other 2 square feet that I thought I had lol. No wonder I'm out of space in there, must go and measure hubby's shed as I'm sure that's bigger & he doesn't have to share it with a chest freezer lol.
Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnight our challenge is
(please use Tilda & have at least on egg somewhere on your creation)
I have inked up another new sweet Easter Tilda, I'm sure I said last year I wasn't going to buy anymore Easter stamps as the cards just go in the bin as probably like many of you I never send Easter cards I only make them for DT's.
The copic colours I've used are -
skin
- E11, E21, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, dress - B45, B41, B0000, boots - C3, C1, C0, bag - W4, W2, W00, chick - YR65, YR24, Y23, Y21
The ceramic flowerpot I bought a couple of years ago from e-crafts online, the feathers were from Etsy, the white twirly branch is from the Ribbon Girl, the large butterflies are Cheery Lyn, & everything else is either linked at the end of my post or from my stash.
I'm entering my card in the following challenge -
Inspire Me Friday - anything goes

Simply stunning as usual Mandy, and the wee flower vase reminds me that i've got a box of plain terracotta one from Buckley jewelry company (i think) that i've had sitting around somewhere for quite some time, i think i might just have to dig them out and put them to use as in the whole time i've had them i've only used one... ooops lol.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've definitely been spoilt today, i literally laughed out loud when i read what your lovely cat did for you, thats just sooo funny. Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for the inspiration with your beautiful cards.
Hugs xNx
