Hello peeps,
I have been busy in my craft room today sorting through the stamps I am putting up for sale & I finished off a DT card & was still in the mood to play but didn't have time to colour another image so I've made a quick card featuring some of the lovely Simon Says Stamp exclusive products without an image! Not like me I know but I thought I'd tackle one of those difficult to make sympathy cards as I don't have any in my stash and it's a sad fact of life that we need them.
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -

I really should try CAS cards more often, I could probably make four or five like this in the time it takes me to make one card in my usual OTT style lol.

I've been making loads of my pins the last couple of weeks & have one packet to give away to someone who leaves a comment on this post. There is no need to post piccy's in sidebars or links or anything like that it's just a little random candy I thought I'd offer, just say the word "pins" in your comment so I know you would like them and that's all you need to do :)

Hi baby girl. Oooh Mandy I love love love that sympathy card. So elegant and sophisticated. Just perfect as are the "pins". I would love to win some"pin" like this as it is some"pin" I could add to my collection of pins which I bought from a lovely lady on Etsy!! LOL.

Thats truly lovely honey, and even tho its totally different to what you normally do, you can still tell its one of yours. I would defo recommend people putting the word 'p***' in their comments, i have bought 2 sets and they are the best i have ever seen, they are stunning - and if your not lucky enough to win a set, go get some, cos they are awesome (i didnt use the full word as i already own 2 sets, so not being greedy) :-)

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card. I am not able to make sympathy cards... I need to feel that the people I make cards for will be happy to receive my card, and sympathy just isn't the right occasion for that :(
ReplyDeleteYour pins are lovely... I would need a tutorial on how to use pins on a card and not risk tearing the paper or hurting someone with the end of the pin though...

Love the CAS look of your sympathy card, Mandy, though as you said, it is a sad fact that we have to have them - SB Floral Ovals is one of my fave die sets, though they can be a bit of a nightmare to get out of the die!
