Good afternoon peeps,
It's official I really am an airhead! Don't ask me how but I got a bit lost in a car park yesterday lol. Unfortunately hubby was with me to witness my blonde moment & somehow instead of finding the exit I ended up driving up, & up, & up lol. I knew I'd messed up as I'd been parked on the ground level & we were getting higher lol. It was too much to hope that hubbs wouldn't notice & I could feel his beady eyes on me & see he was shaking his head, so I said nothing, tried not to laugh & stayed focused ahead looking for somewhere to discretely turn around and head back down the levels again before some smart comment came out of hubby's mouth but he slowly said "Where the hell are you going, are you planning on driving off the ****** roof" lol. That did it for me I couldn't stop laughing, I'm laughing now telling you lol. I reckon that's the best way to keep a marriage alive, always surprise your hubby lol.

Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is
APRIL SHOWERS OR SPRING FLOWERS
APRIL SHOWERS OR SPRING FLOWERS
My lovely teamies & I are featuring HERO ARTS products on our cards this week, if you have any we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge :)
You will have noticed my card looks a little different that my normal today, o.k a lot different lol. I haven't been feeling quite my usual happy self at the moment & I think it's affected my mojo as that has abandoned me, not even the new little Tilda's sat on my desk could tempt me into feeling creative, actually they haven't even seen an ink pad yet that's when you know it's bad lol. I spent most of the day in my craft room on Monday but all I felt like doing was having yet another tidy trying to find more non existent space to store things & very late at night / very early in the morning with time running out to make my DT card I decided to switch to a different style & make a quick card & this was the result. Different but o.k for a change I think!
The Copic colours I've used are -
R85, R83, R81 / G94, G43, G40,
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a fabby $50 is store spending spree
Don't forget to visit the SIMON SAYS STAMP STORE BLOG peeps for inspiration, candy and lots of lovely new or featured products.
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Make It Monday - anything goes, Scrap Creations - flower power, LEJ Designs - show us your ribbons, Papertake - bingo (bottom row), Bunny Zoe's - fav colour combo, Card Mania - punches / dies, Kaboodle Doodles - any shade of pink, Lexi's Creations - punches/dies, Stamp & Create - at least 1 die cut, The Pink Elephant - Spring colours, 613 Avenue Create - anything goes, Challenges 4 Everybody - anything goes, Penny Black @ Allsorts - blossoms & bows, Brown Sugar - Spring, Card Makin' Mamas - no patterned paper, Crafts 4 Eternity - sweet Spring colour challenge, 2 Sisters - anything goes
I just realised I should have photographed inside as well but you can just about see I have stamped some Hero Arts flowers in the bottom right & top left corners.
Before I go I'm having a proud great-auntie moment, here's a piccy of my gorgeous new great niece Evie :) I may be slightly biased but she is so beautiful & a whopper at 9lb 2oz, poor Dionne lol.
