Apron Full Of Flowers - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Good afternoon lovely peeps,
I battled the horrid weather yesterday & went into town with hubby to keep my shopaholic happy lol. We popped in to KFC for some lunch & I always take chicken home to share with the cats so I put 3 pieces in a box ready for them and ate the rest of my meal. Piglet here had to have a caramel fudge ice cream and while I was finishing it off hubby had started clearing the table ready to leave and I realized the chicken had vanished! I think the high pitched "where's the cats chicken" & the look of horror on my face to go with it must have scared hubs as he shot back over to the bin rummaging in it trying to find the box of chicken knowing he'd either never hear the end of it or I'd make him buy more chicken for my babies lol. Personally I would have much preferred him to buy more chicken as it was soooo embarrassing when he opened the bin cupboard & pulled the bin right out trying to find it. He looked so pleased with himself when he found it while I was mortified and left KFC very quickly hoping there wasn't anyone in there who knows us lol.

Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is
FLOWER POWER

My lovely teamies & I are featuring PRIMA & / OR CAS-ual FRIDAYS products on our cards this week, if you have any we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge :)
I was amazed at the amount of brand new stamps I discovered neglected in my baskets when I sorted through them & this gorgeous Whiff Of Joy stamp was one of them. This is little Apron Full Of Flowers & she is lovely to colour and sooooo cute.
All of my flowers today are Prima flowers but I couldn't link the Hydrangeas as I couldn't find them in store, sorry peeps. I have a huge amount of Prima flowers that don't seem to be available anymore and still I order & hoard more, whatever I can get my hands on I just love flowers lol.
The Copic colours I've used are -
skin - E11, E00, E000, E00, R12, hair - E43, E41, E40, apron - W4, W2, W00 / C7, trousers - E79, E74, E70, plant pot - E11, E13, 17, plant & flower leaves - YR97, YR93, YR91, flowers - YR65, YR00, YR0000 / Y35, Y21, YR82

  9. Precious card! Love the adorable image (that birdhouse piece is darling!). I am smiling after reading your KFC story as my friend here in Manhattan goes to Whole Foods (expensive, organic store) for chicken for her cat. She once forgot and when I said we had regular chicken cutlets she freaked as they weren't "organic" for the cat. She can eat any chicken, but Brownie can't. So funny.

  28. Stunning Mandy, but then your cards always are ♥
LOVE these colours, so soft and pretty and real 'feel good' colours.
You'd laugh if you saw my collection of Prima hydrangeas, especially since I hardly ever use embellies and yet somehow I have 12 tubs of them! I just love them, even if I do only look at them :)

I laughed at your hubby's exploits, it's the sort of thing my hubby would do while I would shrivel up and die of embarrassment!

    Enjoy your weekend
    Big hugs
