Anything Goes At Simon Says Stamp & Candy Reminder

 Hello lovely peeps,
Oh my goodness I don't know where the last week went it seems to have flown by so quickly.
I apologise for not having much blogging time at the moment, my time & attention is being spent looking after & focusing on Jodie as she is really struggling with coming to terms with her loss & it's so hard to know how to help her at times. Thankfully we have a wonderful doctor who is also helping her & we hope to see even a tiny glimmer of our usually happy girl back with us soon.

for
& this week our challenge is
ANYTHING GOES

My lovely teamies & I are featuring SIMON SAYS STAMP EXCLUSIVE products on our cards this week, if you have them we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge.
I decided to attempt to get myself back on track and get organised & made a New Home card as I will be needing one in a few weeks. I so nearly added an Edwin to my card as this card is for a young man but I got carried away playing with all the lovely exclusive products and decided it didn't need a little Edwin after all.
The copic colours I've used are -
tree - YG91, YG63, YG06, YG25 / E44, E43, E41, house - R59 / C7, C5, C3, C1 / B24, B23, B21, B000 / Y13, Y00, YR21 / E44, E43, E41, sun - YR31, Y32, YR000, Y00

I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Make It Monday - anything goes

As I am showcasing Simon's lovely exclusive products today it reminded me that I also have another card stashed in my pictures folder which I created a couple of weeks ago using some Simon Exclusives.
This card needed to be as large as possible as it was going to be signed by a lot of Jodie's friends to give to Jamie's parents so I made an 8"x8" tri-fold card.
I decorated the reverse of the front with some of Simon's smaller pretty butterflies which you know I absolutely love, I knew if I didn't decorate the inside panel at least one person would try and write their message on it and squash the embellies on the front lol.
I'm not especially keen on making large cards and I decided to use striking colours and to keep it as simple as possible as it was going to be passed around and written in by so many people.
I will be back tomorrow as it's time for a special challenge :)
Thanks for stopping by

  1. Poor Jodie :( I lost my best friend at 17, it's really not easy...It takes a very long time to even start believing that such a horrendous thing can have happened, and for it to have happened twice to poor Jodie is just shocking :( Give her time and support, she'll be back on track soon.

The cards you made are beautiful, I'm sure Jamie's parents will really appreciate all the support and thoughts, and the guy getting his new home card will be delighted :)
