Hello lovely peeps,
Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2014 is a good one for you.
I am going to get straight on with my card today as I'm feeling shattered, unfortunately not from partying the night away! I think the last couple of weeks of very little sleep and rushing around & hospital visits have caught up with me and I could do with some matchsticks to prop my eyes open lol.

I've had the adorable MFT Homespun Birdhouse for ages and loved it but I put it away in one of my dies cases thinking of all these ideas for cards I could use it on but until now those ideas have just stayed in my head lol.
I've had a play with Embossing paste and Brickwork stencil on this card and I plan on using my stencils a whole lot more and I'm now the proud owner of quite a lot of stencils, not bad for a girl who only used one for the first time a few weeks ago lol.
I die cut the little birdhouse with Simon Says Stamps Woodgrain Cardstock, and the cute birds I die cut once with plain white card and then again with Simon's Vintage paper and adhered the Vintage paper to the card, and then outlined the birds with E44 to add a little definition.
Sorry peep's I can't remember who the designer papers are by, I know they were included in two of Simon's card kits but I can't remember which ones. Note to self make a note in future!
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 voucher for the fabulous
Don't forget to visit the new SIMON SAYS STAMP STORE BLOG for lots of fabulous inspiration, candy, and lots of lovely new or featured products.
A big thank you to everyone who popped over to the Store Blog and left such lovely comments on my Magnolia gift box, it did put a big smile on my face reading them.
I have used some lovely numbers Kelly Purkey washi tape across the centre of my card inside and out but it's got a bit covered in embellies on the front so here is a shot of the inside.
I'm entering my card in the following challenge-
Make It Monday - anything goes
This is so cute. ?ove the brick wall effect in the background and the cheerful birdies.
