Hello lovely peeps!
Apologies for being a little late with my DT post today, I've been unwell for a few days & didn't think about installing all my usual programmes I use for blogging on my new laptop so have had to try & use my old laptop to upload my photos which is so annoying when it refuses to play nice lol.
Today I have a new Magnolia card to share as well as my DT card :)

The image I've used is created using stamps from Paper Smooches Sugar Rush stamp set, & I also created the backing paper with the stamp set by randomly stamping sweets & sprinkles & colouring them before finishing off with Stickles.
The twine I have used is by American Crafts & is from a fab value pack with such lovely colours in & the pink I've used coordinates perfectly with Simon's Cotton Candy card stock.
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 voucher for the fabulous

Welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.
ANYTHING GOES
It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity :-) You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible :-)
This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive.
We have not 1, not 2 but 3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!
For this challenge we have a very special Junior Design Team who I am sure you will agree have done an excellent job.
You have until August 31st 6pm Ohio time. 11pm UK time, 12 pm CET to join in
You can enter as many times as you like :-)
GOOD LUCK
Please remember to add the age of the child to the linky, thanks xx
My second card today features a sweet Tilda who I think was from one of Magnolia's 2014 collections & is called Rose Basket Tilda.
I've been raiding my neglected stash to create this card including discovering the image which I must have coloured last year when I purchased the stamp! Fortunately I generally write the copic colours I use in a note book & have flicked through and found them :)The copic colours I've used are -
skin - E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes - RV95, RV93, RV91, roses - R85, R83, R81 / C1, C00, basket - E34, E31, E30
Thanks so much for bearing with me the past few weeks, I just haven't created anything worth adding to my shop, hopefully I am back on the right track with my crafting again.
