Add Some Texture & New Fluttering By Release! - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
I have two very different cards with you today, my DT card & a card featuring a new die from Simon Says Stamp's new Fluttering By release which has just been released today.

It's Wednesday which means -

 at
& this week our challenge is
Add Some Texture

& this week the design team are featuring

TIM HOLTZ

products on our cards.
If you have them we would love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to use them to enter our challenge.
Don't forget you can enter our challenge 5 times and there is no limit to how many challenges you combine your entry with.
Do you use Instagram?  If so, please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

As you can see I wanted to show the "softer" side of using Tim Holtz products & have teamed them with some pretty Prima Ashby Heaven Sent 2 Flowers,  & I also added a couple of Prima flowers from other sets that I had in my stash. The sentiment is from Simon's Bouquet Of Love stamp set which I have stamped in Simon's Black pigment ink.

 Other supplies used -

As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 voucher for the fabulous

I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Crafty Creations - anything goes, Crafting From The Heart - anything goes,  Inspiration Destination - anything goes - twist use a real stamp (sentiment), Lemon Shortbread - anything goes, Creative Moments  anything goes, The Crafty Addicts - anything goes, Create & Makes - anything goes, Elliebelle's Crafty Wednesday April - say it with flowers, The Paper Shelter - flowers, Pause Dream Enjoy - anything goes,

Simon Says Stamp has a brand new release out today called Fluttering By.

I have created a card featuring one of the gorgeous new dies in this release called
This pretty die can be used to create cards for so many different occasions, weddings, anniversary's, sympathy, birthdays, thank you, thinking of you etc, I just wish I had had more time to create them for today's release.

I have reversed roles of using patterned paper on this card and used some Kaisercraft papers for matting & layering instead of using plain card stock as I normally do. I have used Simon's Woodgrain card stock, a stamp from Simon's Handwritten Greetings stamp set, & added a couple of Tim Holtz punched butterflies & clear gems to finish.

That's me finished for today, I am having a nice lazy day as I'm back at work after having the flu but finding it exhausting & really need my energy to go to a craft show tomorrow :)
Thanks for stopping by
