Anything Goes & Fiona Loves Flowers - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps!
Apologies for my sudden absence from blogland, my world has sadly once again been turned upside down!

On New Years Eve my lovely step-dad Tony collapsed and spent a week in intensive care in Southmead Hospital in Bristol, & sadly he lost his fight to stay with us. My sisters & I can't believe we have lost Tony less than eight months after losing our beautiful mum. Tony has been our rock these past few months, especially as we lost our dad almost 21 years ago & we are absolutely heartbroken having now lost all our parents.

On a brighter note I have packed this post with two cards as I am rejoining my fabulous friends at Simon Says Stamp this week & I also have a commissioned card to share which I created a couple of months ago & hadn't got around to blogging!

 at
& this week our challenge is
ANYTHING GOES!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog
Don't forget you can enter our challenge 5 times and there is no limit to how many challenges you combine your entry with.
Do you use Instagram ?  If so, please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too.

This week my lovely teamies and I are featuring some gorgeous
own brand goodies. You don't have to use them to enter our challenge but we'd love to see them if you do.
This is the first card I have created since before Christmas so thought I'd ease myself back in gently with a nice simple card!
The cute images are from Simon's Winter Warmth stamp set & I've used some of my favourite Simon dies, Bundle Of Stitched Shapes, Merry Christmas & the Stitched Snowflakes.
I've used the snowflakes to create some faux embossing on my white card and the patterned paper is from Kaiser's pretty Silver Bells paper pad.

The copic colours I've used on this card are -
B24, B21,B000 / C3. C1. C00
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
A Snowflakes Promise - Winter, Christmas At Sweet Stampin' - bows, Crafting For All Seasons - ribbons & pearls, Creative Moments - anything goes (let it snow), Fab "n" Funky - Christmas, Stampavie & More - Winter

My second card today is a commissioned card & my customer wanted a lilac / purple, feminine 21st Birthday card for her daughter so I decided to use the pretty Fiona Loves Flowers image from Stamping Bella.
The clay frame & fancy corner were created with Martha Stewart's Crafters Clay, The flowers are a mix of Prima, Magnolia & Wild Orchid, & the sentiments are computer generated.
The copic colours I've used are -
skin -E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, dress - C3, C1, C00, bird - E43, E41, E40, flowers - RV95, RV93, RV91 / R85, R83, R81 / YR23, Y15, Y11, leaves - YG93, G43, G40
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
