Hello lovely peeps,

I'm very pleased to say my friend Ali hasn't had to remain up in my craft room forever, she did get the hang of the ladder .......eventually lol. We had a lovely and very productive craft day and despite her misbehaving herself up there she is allowed back in now I've finished hovering up all the micro beads after the naughty girl chucked them about lol.

I have been busy planning easy Christmas crafty items to create with my residents at work, what better way to spend freezing cold days while I'm at work :)

On today's card I have used the adorable Tilda With Snow Heart from Magnolia's Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011, I guess this makes her an older girlie now but she's still as cute as ever.

The copic colours I've used are -

skin - E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, hat, scarf & gloves -  E74, E71, E70 / C3, C1, C00, clothes and boots - W6, W4, W2, W0, tights C3, C1, C00

Thank You! - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello lovely peeps,

I have been in a real colouring mood the last few days I've never had such a stock of coloured images awaiting cards, I'm sure smoke has been coming off my copics lol.

Tomorrow I am at last having a play date with my friend Ali, we have only had one craft day since hubby suffered a stroke 11 months ago so I am really looking forward to that, except for one thing!
My new craft room is in the attic & Ali is a complete idiot on ladders lol. Ali hasn't actually made it up in my attic craft room yet as she doesn't like ladders but insists she will tomorrow which is one big worry! Ali did go a few rungs up the ladder ages ago to take a peek at my craft room through the loft hatch but we ran into a huge problem getting her down again! Hubs and I couldn't  help her as we couldn't stop laughing as she was screeching she was stuck yet would not let go of the loft hatch which was the only thing stopping her getting down lol.
I think we'll need her hubby and sons, and possibly the fire brigade on standby tomorrow just in case she is stuck up there. I think the world of that girl but draw the line at her having to live in my craft room forever lol.

Today's card is a little different for me again as I was having a play with Simon's fabulous white pigment ink pad and decided to have a bash at stamping on vellum for a change!

 

I said a few weeks ago how happy I was to have finally found a white ink pad I love & this one is being put to good use as I've been busy stamping on some Christmas gift tags with it. 

 

 This card took me ages to make, only because I kept being drawn to my new Christmas Magnolia's and yet more colouring lol.
