This week I am featuring Impression Obsession Birdhouse Row cling stamp on my card & I have coloured the cute image with my copics.

I created my background by embossing white card stock using Tim Holtz Sizzix Botanical 3D Embossing Folder which I spritzed with a mix of water & Confetti White Perfect Pearls for a lovely shimmer effect. I die cut a frame in kraft card stock using Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies & added a mix of Raindrops Mix Droplets &  Marshmallow Sequins  to the shaker.

My sentiment has been stamped in Simon's Black pigment ink and is from Simon's Friendship Messages stamp set.

I did begin to create a pink, red & white card for this challenge but then changed my mind about the colours & created a card in neutral shades instead.

For my background I used Simon Says Stamps Fog Grey Ink blended over the Lots of Hearts stencil & then I die cut my card stock with the largest of the Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies & mounted it onto Simon's Fog Grey card stock.

I wanted lots of texture on my card so added some twine, Prima Art Stones, Nuvo Silver Lining & Oyster Grey Crystal Drops, some pretty Prima Wander Spring Farmhouse Flowers, Tim Holtz punched butterflies & Simon's Outline Clustered Leaves which I have die cut in white & Fog Grey card stock & added glitter to some of the leaves.

My sentiment has been stamped in Simon's Black pigment ink and is from Simon's Friendship Messages stamp set which I have mounted onto Fog Grey card stock and then popped it onto Simon's Fun Foam & added to my card.

This week I am featuring Hero Arts lovely Magnolia Stamp on my card which I have coloured with my copics using the no line technique.

I stamped my image twice using Ink On 3 Fadeout Ink pad as I decided I wanted to add a little dimension to my flower and coloured just the leaves on the image I had stamped on my background card, & just some leaves & the beautiful flower on my second image. I then fussy cut my flower and the coloured leaves on my second image and then popped it onto Simon's Fun Foam before adhering to my card.
For the background I simply added a few flicks of Altenew Watercolor paint & added a few of Simon's sequins & Simon's Hello die cut greeting to finish.

Something New - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps & Happy New Year!
I am hoping this year will allow me a little more crafty time as 2018 wasn't the best of years for my family! I've been needed to help more in my daughters pub while she is still recovering from being so ill, & as well as working my job that has taken up my spare time.

I am kick starting the New Year with a couple of Christmas cards to try & get ahead again as I send a lot of hand made Christmas cards to friends & family & somehow never have quite enough!

If Santa brought you some new crafty goodies we would love to see them! You could also make something for a New Baby, New Job, New Home, New Life Adventures etc.

This week I am featuring some New Supplies which is my Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit.

The cute image has been coloured with my copics & I have created my background using Simon's white glitter card stock, Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders dies & a selection of distress inks. The sentiment and snowflakes are from the Snow Much Fun stamp set included in the kit, and this set can also be bought individually.
I have stamped my sentiment & snowflakes using Simon's White pigment ink pad & added a few splats of watered down gesso to my background, some Nuvo Simply White Crystal Drops & a pom pom from the kit to add a little more dimension.

I've also created another little card using my January card kit but with a sentiment from the Christmas Cheer stamp set which was in my December Card Kit.
The lovely sparkly silver glitter paper was recycled from one of my Christmas crackers! After pulling the crackers I was about to bin them & suddenly my inner magpie kicked in & I was drawn to the sparkle & saved the crackers paper & also some of the embellishments on them.

***Edited *** I've had lots of emails asking about the shape of my card so apologies for missing that out! The scalloped card base has been created using Simon Says Stamps 3 Sided Scallop Die. This is just one of Simon Says Stamps fabulous own brand products so is only available to purchase from Simon Says Stamp.
