Simon Says Anything Goes - Simon Says Stamp DT

 Hello lovely peeps,
I'm running a little late today as I've been at my mums house giving her a computer lesson! Bless her heart she hasn't even used her laptop for 2 years as she's scared to click on anything in case she beaks it, it doesn't seem long ago I was the same & was sat with my instructions from Gareth & Jode on how to switch it on & play Solitaire lol.

Thanks so much to the ladies who took the time to email me & let me know my emailed post appear to have gone wonky, I have subscribed to my posts now so when this post is emailed I will be able to have a look and hopefully sort the problem out :)

Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is Simon Says -
ANYTHING GOES

My lovely teamies & I are featuring Penny Black this week & as I realised how quickly January has flown by I thought I'd best make a start on my aim of making 3 Christmas cards each month so I have used my all time favourite Penny Black's Fantasy Tree & have made a Christmas card.
This little card drove me mad as I think I left my mojo in bed all weekend! It was one of those cards which nothing looked right on, there was lots of sighing going on whilst sat looking at it, and it looked nothing like this in my head! In the photo the image background looks really yellow but it is in fact inked using Antique Linen which does have a "yellow tinge" to it but isn't anywhere near as yellow as it's coming out in my photo.
I've stamped the image using Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using Hero Arts embossing powder & then I added lots of lovely sparkle :)

Mmmmmm Chocolates - Totally Tilda DT Card

Good morning lovely peeps,
I was having a lovely blogging session last night until pins & needles got the better of me grrrrrr, so annoying. I wish I could just sit & do nothing sometimes but I get restless after about a minute & just have to do something, I annoy myself as I am such a fidget so I do kind of understand hubby's little rants of "for god sake woman sit down & sit still" lol. I cannot remember the last time I actually "watched" a film or even a whole TV programme! My eyes flick to the screen from time to time but I listen to the TV instead of watching it while colouring, blogging, making pins etc, & when I actually stop & think about it I am doing hubs a favour really by making cards as at least I sit still for a little while, nice female logic hey lol.

Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnight we have an

As always my lovely teamies have made such beautiful creations for your inspiration, hop over and take a peek :)
Here is the scrummy picture for your inspiration, lovely isn't it?
I am on a mission to ink up my previously unused Magnolia's & although I have used this adorable little Tilda once before I have never inked up the gorgeous Chocolate Heart Box.
Instead of my usual masking I have stamped sweet Tilda separately & fussy cut her out & added some depth by mounting her with silicon glue. Some people leave a white line around the images when they cut them out which I like on other people's cards but whenever I do it myself I'm never happy with it so it's very fussy cutting for a very fussy me lol.
Supplies not linked - papers are Maja Design, Cats Life Press sentiment, Whiff Of Joy large brad, chipboard butterfly is from Make It Crafty, the pink ribbon & doily are from my stash.
The Copic colours I've used are -
Tilda - skin - E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes - C1, C00 /RV95, RV93, RV91 socks - C1, C0, C00, shoes - W4, W2, W0, wrapped heart - V93, V91, V000 / W2, W1, W00
Chocolate Heart Box - W4, W2, W1, W00 / V0000, RV93, RV91, chocolates - E59, E57, E55
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Make It Monday - anything goes, Inspire Me Friday - anything goes, Drunken Stampers - all that glitters, Sweet Stampin' - ribbon, Totally Gorjuss - flowers, Paper-crafting Journey - for a girl, The Paper Shelter - anything goes, The Sisterhood of Crafters - hearts, Creative Card Crew - girly, Papertake - tie up your loose ends, Top Tip Tuesday - layers, Simon Says Stamp & Show - what are you known for?
