Ring Bearer Luka - La La Land GDT & Prom Night Scrapbook Page

Hello lovely peeps,
Everywhere looks beautiful here all snow covered & it's still falling thick & fast, I love watching falling snow & could quite happily sit watching it & daydreaming for ages. Jester (puppy) was still scared of the snow at first & wouldn't go outside until hubs started throwing snowballs for him & now he wants to be out in it all the time, the cats however are not so impressed lol.
 We keep losing our satellite & internet connection which is a pain, at the moment going out & brushing the snow off the satellite dish is solving that problem, I'm just hoping I can get to the end of my post before we lose it again.

Today I have 2 projects to share :)

 First up it's
INSPIRATION FRIDAY at LA LA LAND
for the
NO FLOWERS challenge
I have used the super cute Ring Bearer Luka who is in the CHA 2013 release and I've also used the lovely Fancy Bracket die from the new release.
I've seen some photos & video's of CHA & I spotted this little card sitting on the table on the La La Land stall & Irish Marci who I blogged last week was in a frame on the wall :)

The Copic colours I've used are  -
skin - E11, E00, E000, R12, hair - E44, E43, E41, suit - C5, C3, C1, shirt - C1, C00, shoes - C9, C7, C5, cushion - R89, R59, R39 / YR24, YR23, YR21

I coloured & cut out the accessory ring from the set, cut the centre of the ring band out, popped a blingy gem on and made it into a charm.

 I also have my second scrapbook page to share which I made on Monday when Ali & I had a lovely craft day & thinking back I don't think we even shouted at each other for a change lol.

This layout is of Jodie's school Prom, just look at my baby girl in her beautiful dress, tiara & trainers, Josh took one classy girl to the Prom with him lol. Jodie was adamant she wanted trainers to match her dress as she wanted to enjoy Prom night & dance without getting sore feet as she's not a "heels" girl & it turned out to be good thinking as she was the only girl not hobbling around carrying her shoes at the end of the night, & to this day Jode wearing trainers is what they all talk about whenever the school Prom is mentioned as despite keep telling her friends she had new trainers to wear nobody believed she actually would lol.

 I actually managed to step away from the page and leave it alone without covering virtually all of the paper with embellies as I so often do lol.

The Woodware chipboard numbers have been stamped on & outlined with a Distress Marker and then given a good glittering :)

The paper is Pion, the large butterflies are Cheery Lynn, the lovely big lace doily is by Royal Lace it was from Simon Says Stamp but I couldn't find it in store today to directly link to, & the lace is from The Craftz Boutique and the big blingy gems were from The Ribbon Girl.

I am about to wrap up and take the dogs out for a run in the field in the snow and then it's coffee, blogging & colouring for me today, which sounds to me like a fab idea :)
