Hello peeps,
Sssssh I need to whisper because I'm in the public library! My flipping Internet has gone & broken, hubby blames Ali & I as we were on it Monday morning tracking down a template she wanted to try & he went to use his laptop & that was that, Internet connection gone, kaput, dead :( In our defence we left it in good working order & our neighbours have lost theirs too so it can't have been us that broke it lol. Have you ever used a computer in a public library? OMG talk about grubby, thank god for dettol wipes, every girl should carry them in her handbag, just think of how many peoples grubby hands have been all over that mouse & keyboard, I bet they don't always wash their hands after answering a call of nature and we all know what men have to hold, yuck lol. After a sneaky clean it took me ages to suss this computer out, it's so different to my laptop but where there's a will there's a way, & at least I could still manage to schedule my blog post :)
Anyway enough waffle blogging has already cost a small fortune by the time I got all my DT comments up to date and let all my teamies know I am temporarily AWOL, and you aren't allowed to have a cup of coffee & a choc chip muffin in the library, not even when you write a blog post which I consider compulsory lol.
Today is new challenge day at
& this week we have an inspirational picture challenge for you
I decided to go with the fruit theme as my inspiration and inked up an older little lady from my ever growing Magnolia collection
Ingredients -
Magnolia Products - Image, Peachy Tilda from A Little Yummy For Your Tummy Collection 2009, Papers - Peaches, Blueberries, & White Lace, Sentiment - Bold Happy Birthday, Doo Hickeys - Swirls & leaf, & butterfly.
Pearls - Hero Arts
Flowers - Prima & stash
Medium - distressed Inks
Trinket Pin - Maya Road
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a mahoosive $50 in store spending spree
There are loads of gorgeous new goodies being added to the store all the time, pop over and take a peek
I've asked my lovely mad friend Liz if I am not back online to enter these challenges for me, thanks hunny xx
Magnolia Down Under - purple, peach & cream, Oldie But A Goodie - lots of layers, Make It Monday - anything goes, TOMIC - Happy Birthday, Totally Gorjuss - fab sketch, Ooh La La - Happy Birthday, The Drunken Stampers - Birthdays
That's all from me peeps, it's time I went home for a nice cup of coffee and look at my router, you never know that little green light telling me all is well with my Internet connection may just have appeared instead of the orange one showing a fault that I don't like lol.
Hopefully I'll be back very soon, and thanks for stopping by
Hi Mandy, Gorgeous card! This little Tilda is such a sweetie and FAB papers.
ReplyDeleteOh no sorry to hear about your internet ... hope you get it sorted soon. We had internet problems for 2 days last week. After a couple of calls to BT it was sorted (they had to reset the hub). OMG we didn't know what to do with ourselves lol! Saying that my house was tidier :-)
