Simon Says Stamp DT - A Present For Ali

Good morning peeps, or it was when I started my post lol,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, ours was lovely, lots of laughter, lots of gorgeous presents, hubby cooked delicious food, the odd glass of wine & a 23 year old son banging around the house at 6am trying to wake everyone up as he was so excited & couldn't wait any longer for his presents lol, just perfect, we all thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Today is new challenge day at

& this week it's

ANYTHING GOES

My DT creation for today is a picture I made as part of my friend Ali's Christmas present, we did say we weren't going to buy presents for each other this year we decided we would make something for each other instead, but we both still bought each other presents so that little agreement worked out well lol.

I bought an unusual shaped photo frame and painted it with Gesso, then Picket Fence crackle paint and finished it off with a spritz of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer mist. I then added some gorgeous Simplicity trim lace & lots of Hero Arts pearls around the glass area before adding those all important Tilda's.

Other embellies added are Magnolia Doo Hickey Swirl, Dream Tag & Heart Swirls, some ribbons & flowers & a Symbolize butterfly charm.

All images are coloured with Copics and the first close up is of sweet Bubbling Tilda from the Magnolia Fairytale collection 2010 she's always been a favourite of Ali's, & at the top of the frame I have added a cute mini Tilda from the same collection. I have cut the bubbles out (very fiddly) and sparkled & glossed them for some lovely shine.

Next up is Valentino who is from the new Sweet Crazy Love Collection. The sparkle is a mixture of Diamond stickles and Sugar Shimmer fairy dust.

This little cutie is Tilda With Peony Tails and the sentiment is an older Magnolia stamp.

Before I go I thought I'd share a picture of my very own cute Elf my baby girl Jodie. Jodie worked all day on Christmas Eve & they all decided to dress up to make the day a bit nicer as often a lot of the customers in store are stressed out by then & a bit snappy & lacking Christmas spirit. They had a brilliant day & even had parents/grandparents asking the staff if they could pose for photos with their kiddies lol.

That's me done peeps, my mojo is running wild at the moment I want to play, play, play, it's just typical it happens now at the busiest time of the year, although it's just as well today as I've been so busy with Christmas that I haven't made little Ollie's birthday card yet and his first birthday is tomorrow oops, I guess I'll have to force myself into my craft room while I've got the chance :)
