Hello peeps,
I've been trying to finish my post all day but after a nice long walk over the hills with the dogs this morning I seem to have been stuck trying to fix hubby's laptop for him and the day has flown by.
First of all today I have a card to share which I've created using some of Simon Says Stamps new Summer release dies.
First of all today I have a card to share which I've created using some of Simon Says Stamps new Summer release dies.
As I have said before the butterflies are my absolutely favourite & this time I have used the largest size butterflies, oh yes peeps they come in two sizes which made me soooo happy lol.
This card was one of those well behaved cards where I decided I would use dies as the main ingredient and white card and some distress ink & hey presto it all came together nicely, no faffing, just ta daaa lol.
I have die cut three butterflies, one Paulina and two Devonshire butterflies and they are approximately 3" wide, have I told you I love them lol. I've lightly inked the edges of all of them with Antique Linen distress ink and also added some lovely sparkle to the top Devonshire butterfly.
I've also used another of Simon's new Summer release exclusive dies on this card the full card hexagons but instead of die cutting my card with it I used it to emboss instead, I'm already thinking Honeybee Tilda would look fab with that die :)
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Make It Monday - anything goes, Inspire Me Friday - anything goes, Aud's Sentiments - anything goes

I had some more Etsy sales earlier, thank you lovely lady and I'll be popping this card in my little shop soon.
WOW what a huge amount of people joined us for our Simon Says Stamp Summer release blog hop, thanks so much :)
The winner of the fabulous Simon goodie bag from my blog is
Sandra Strickler
congrats Sandra you will be getting an email today from my lovely friends at Simon.
On the subject of emails I've suddenly received quite a few emails today about me not posting my candy winner, oops sorry yes I am a few days late announcing the winner, what can I say I'm a busy airhead, jeeze you lot are impatient lol.
When it came to doing the draw earlier I had to do the draw a total of 5 times before Random.Org picked a winner who actually qualified as none of the first 4 winners had posted a piccy in their blogs sidebar, so pleased to know I'm not the only air head ha ha ha.
The winner of the Magnolia goodies as picked by random.org on the 5th attempt is -
Congrats Brigitte
