Hello lovely peeps,
I've just realised I still haven't finished any cards with the new Christmas Magnolia's! Shame on me I know, & I currently have a few different projects I'm in the process of making as well as some card orders to make so I've a feeling the next couple of months will be busy & crafty ones :)
On to today's card -
& this week our challenge is
KEEP IT CLEAN & SIMPLE!
My lovely teamies & I are featuring Kelly Purkey products this week, if you have them we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge.

As you know I like CAS cards but I am not a huge fan of making CAS cards simply because I never feel as though I've put enough effort into making them as they are so quick to make rather than spending hours on one little card!
I love this new Simon exclusive tree die, I've already coloured another up ready to stand little Tilda beside it :)
I stamped the sentiment with shadow ink but wanted the green to look bolder so braved writing over the sentiment with the same copic marker I had coloured the baubles.
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 voucher for the fabulous
Don't forget to visit the new SIMON SAYS STAMP STORE BLOG for lots of fabulous inspiration, candy, and lots of lovely new or featured products.
As I had actually found some time & energy to play in my craft room I made another quick CAS card using some more of Simon's exclusive products :)
On this card I instead of using the falling snow stencil with glitter snow or ink I dug out my very neglected dry embossing bits & pieces and embossed the vellum using an embossing stylus & I'd forgotten how lovely embossed vellum looks.
That's me finished for today peeps, I really need a cup of coffee but Daisy Mae (cat) is fast asleep snuggled across my lap & on my laptop which has made typing very hard as I can't see all the keys but I'm too soft to move her lol. I guess I'll have to sit here with a raging thirst until she either wakes up & moves or someone comes home & makes a coffee for me lol.

I have edged the vellum with stickles and added some Kelly Purkey stickers for the sentiment & finished my card off with some clear gems & ribbon.

Fabulous job on both cards! Sometimes you just need to add a clean and simple card to the mix :) I love the wood grain pattern in your first card and the fun snowfall in the background of the second card!
