From One Extreme To Another! - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps,
Happy St.Georges Day to all my fellow English men & women :)
I intended offering some blog candy for my birthday last week but the week whizzed by due to the long hours I worked & lots needing doing in the garden & blog candy went out of my head so on my shopping list for the craft show at Shepton Mallet this week will be blog candy.

On to today's card -

 at
& this week our challenge is
KEEP IT CLEAN & SIMPLE
& optional one layer card

My lovely teamies and I are featuring some fabulous HERO ARTS products on our creations this week, if you have any we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to use them to join our challenge.
I have used my favourite Hero Arts stamp & this is my first attempt at making a one layer card & is by far the most CAS card I've ever managed to make! My little hand was hovering ready to stick some butterflies on but I managed to stop myself as it's never "just one butterfly" with me, I knew if I started embellishing I would have trouble stopping myself so I did manage to stick to my original goal lol.
I have also tried something else new on this card! Colouring with Polychromo pencils (thank you Elaine xx) I need lots of practise but so far I really like them.

As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 voucher for the fabulous

Have you seen the new website?
I couldn't wait for a peek and I love it :) The first thing I looked for was of course where are the Magnolia's lol.

Papertake - white + one, Less Is More - makes me smile (because flowers are beautiful)

As my title says "From one extreme to another" so let's get back to the normal Mandy style with loads of embellies lol.
Yes here she is little Miss Tilda, sitting pretty of course.
I have used some older Websters Pages papers on this card, sorry I don't know the name of the pack as my Websters Pages papers are all in a stack together & no doubt mixed up!
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Magnolialicious - anything goes, Midweek Magnolia's - frame it

That's me finished for today peeps, thanks for stopping by

Animal Antics - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps,
I am loving all the beautiful sunshine we are enjoying, despite the sunshine I am always cold at the moment! I have seen so many people wearing t-shirts, flip flops & even shorts & here is me still wearing my Winter boots, cardigans & thick socks & still have the central heating on twice a day, yes I'm a softy Southerner lol.

My Magnolia stamp club has been sat here waiting for an inking for the past week & I have some gorgeous pencils to play with but no time as yet to play. Roll on 8.45pm on Friday as I will have seven whole wonderful days off to play, play, play & have a rest which I am so looking forward to as I feel like I'm running on empty & actually need some time to relax, think I might even try getting some sleep for a change lol. Those who really know me know that "relaxing" & me just don't go together. I am a fidget & always on the go but I think it's time I at least tried & I have all good intentions to relax so by my reckoning I'm half way there lol.
