Ingredients -
Medium - Copics
Flowers - Prima, Kort & Godt, Wild Orchid & Magnolia
The film strip ribbon &Weathered Clock are both Tim Holtz and the frame I have edged by using a Friskars punch

Simon Says Stamp DT - A Present For Ali

Good morning peeps, or it was when I started my post lol,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, ours was lovely, lots of laughter, lots of gorgeous presents, hubby cooked delicious food, the odd glass of wine & a 23 year old son banging around the house at 6am trying to wake everyone up as he was so excited & couldn't wait any longer for his presents lol, just perfect, we all thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Today is new challenge day at
& this week it's

Take a peek at the challenge blog & you will see an absolutely gorgeous box our lovely Jo made for me as part of my Christmas present, Jo even filled it with lots of lovely goodies as well as spoiling me with other scrummy presents too, thanks soooooo much hunny xxx

My DT creation for today is a picture I made as part of my friend Ali's Christmas present, we did say we weren't going to buy presents for each other this year we decided we would make something for each other instead, but we both still bought each other presents so that little agreement worked out well lol.
I bought an unusual shaped photo frame and painted it with Gesso, then Picket Fence crackle paint and finished it off with a spritz of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer mist. I then added some gorgeous Simplicity trim lace & lots of Hero Arts pearls around the glass area before adding those all important Tilda's.
Other embellies added are Magnolia Doo Hickey SwirlDream TagHeart Swirls, some ribbons & flowers & a Symbolize butterfly charm.
All images are coloured with Copics and the first close up is of sweet Bubbling Tilda from the Magnolia Fairytale collection 2010 she's always been a favourite of Ali's, & at the top of the frame I have added a cute mini Tilda from the same collection. I have cut the bubbles out (very fiddly) and sparkled & glossed them for some lovely shine.

Next up is Valentino who is from the new Sweet Crazy Love Collection. The sparkle is a mixture of Diamond stickles and Sugar Shimmer fairy dust.

This little cutie is Tilda With Peony Tails and the sentiment is an older Magnolia stamp.

As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a whopping $50 spending spree in the

Edited - I just had to show you our lovely new blinkies they are sooooooo cute :)

Jodie worked all day on Christmas Eve & they all decided to dress up to make the day a bit nicer as often a lot of the customers in store are stressed out by then & a bit snappy & lacking Christmas spirit. They had a brilliant day & even had parents/grandparents asking the staff if they could pose for photos with their kiddies lol.
If you haven't seen already our lovely Debby invited everyone to share their 5 favourite Christmas cards of 2011 on Christmas Eve, & on New Years Eve it's time to share your 5 favourite cards from 2011, pop over & visit our Debby for more info.

That's me done peeps, my mojo is running wild at the moment I want to play, play, play, it's just typical it happens now at the busiest time of the year, although it's just as well today as I've been so busy with Christmas that I haven't made little Ollie's birthday card yet and his first birthday is tomorrow oops, I guess I'll have to force myself into my craft room while I've got the chance :)

May Your Day Be Special - Addicted To Stamps DT

Hello peeps & Happy Christmas to you all,
The last 2 days in my house have been soooooooo busy, 6 new Magnolia stamps arrived on Friday morning & I still haven't even got around to inking them up which shows it's been a mad house lol.
Ali & I popped to church for our usual Carols around the crib sing song on Christmas Eve & they only had a real donkey that they were attempting to get into the church which had me in a bit of a panic as I love them but need to pop antihistamines & inhalers before I can go near a horse/donkey as I'm alergic to them & it amused Ali no end & she was willing that donkey to come in, it's wonderful to have such a supportive friend lol.

Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnight our challenge is
e.g - NewYear, Home, Baby etc

I haven't had time to finish the card I had planned on using so instead I am sharing a creation I made for an ex DT teamie as it fits the New Year theme. To be honest I freaked out when I saw the name that was picked for me to make something for as the her style couldn't be more different from mine so I did try & keep it as plain as possible & I didn't even use glitter, lace, or roses, it's all wrong I tell you, I just hope she doesn't hate it too much lol.
Ingredients -
Image & Sentiment - Magnolia
Medium - Copics
Paper - K & Co, a gift from lovely Mummy x
Calendar - Anita's
Tools - MS PATP, Woodware mini butterfly punch, Magnolia Doo Hickey heart swirls, EK Success mini flower punch

I'm going to whizz through these now and predictably there is a Tilda or 4 among them lol.
I am really critical about my own cards and for once this little card just kind of fell into place I was actually pleased with it when I eventually decided which embeilles to add lol.

I really enjoyed making this little card with Herb on & I made this with my lovely Auntie Jenny & Uncle Pete in mind

This little gift bag & book card took hours to make, Jodie loved them so to me that's time well spent

This little Tilda book card went off down the motorway to my baby sis and was another I really enjoyed making, then again give me any Magnolia stamp to play with and I'm happy lol
Finally this little card is was for a lovely lady and one Gareth asked me to make, little Tilda is adorable & oooooh just look at all those scrummy embellies lol.

Thant's me done peeps, I'm off to have a play with my new Copic sketch pens my lovely mommy bought me :)
