Undies & Bees! - Simon Says Stamp DT Card & GDT Digital Delights

Good morning peeps,
I am still chasing my tail and have one more DT project to finish & one to make this week & I am going to breathe a huge sigh of relief when they're done as I haven't really spent anytime with hubby since he's been off work on holiday as I've either been zonked out on painkillers or in my craft room, I dare say he's enjoyed the peace lol.

Today is new challenge day at
and this week our challenge is a colour challenge of

This week my fabulous teamies & I are showcasing gorgeous  Penny Black stamps, if you have them we'd love to see them but it's not compulsory to enter the challenge.

Ingredients -
Image - Penny Black
Lace - Kaiser
Pearls - Hero Arts
Flowers - Prima
Sentiment - Magnolia
I always reach for my Coredinations White Wash papers when I'm stuck for putting papers together, a quick whizz through the Cuttlebug to emboss them, sand them a little and they always look fab & would you believe I have three 12x12 pads in my stash just in case they sell out everywhere lol.
I've finished off my card by adding some diamond stickles for the lovely sparkle

As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a whopping

I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Sketch Saturday - fab sketch, Stamp Magic - Summer, Timbroscrapmania - In the garden, Cutie Sunday - animals, Pear Tree - stamp something, Crafty Catz - add a charm, Fussy & Fancy - case a DT member (Tiara, lilac & butterflies), Sew Many Challenges - dry embossing, Secret Crafter - embossing, Totally Gorjuss - ribbons & lace

I am so looking forward to my DT spend and my order arriving, amongst my haul I've ordered 26 new copics sketch pens as I am determined I will get to grips with them, I keep reading on peoples blogs that they are quicker than colouring with distressed inks, maybe when you know what you are doing, until then if I'm short on time I'll have to keep reaching for my gorgeous inks lol.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also have another card to share as I won a GDT slot at Delightful Challenges among lots of other lovely prizes & top 3's for my little Tilda gazebo which I blogged last week, if you missed it and want a peek you can see it HERE, be warned it's Magnolia overload lol.

I only just managed to squeeze in making this card as I'm a bit snowed under right now so I had this mad idea that I would attempt a CAS card as it would be quicker, me CAS, yeah right lol.

This little card is going to be featured on the Digital Delights blog, thanks Wendy & the DT for inviting me over

I thought I did well with an attempt at a "clean & simple card" (CAS) until I looked at other peoples & realised I failed miserably, no surprise there lol. I don't think I'll ever be able to manage this style, I'd never be able to step away from the card quick enough, even looking at this now I am visualising Magnolia Doo Hickey swirls, flowers galore, butterflies, pearls lol.

Ingredients -
Papers - Craft Creations & stash
Sparkle - Crystal glamour dust
Lace - ebay
I'm entering this little card in the following challenges -
Crafty Cardmakers - spots & stripes, Kaboodle Doodles - going in circles, Dream Valley - ribbon, Card Patterns - fab sketch, Pile It On - going round in circles, Lexi's - a bugs life, The Poodles Parlour - come fly with me.

That's me done peeps so I'm heading back into my craft room to hopefully finish the DT projects I'm working on.
Thanks for stopping by
EDITED - I'VE HAD NO BLOGGER FOR 2 DAYS DUE TO AN ERROR CODE GIVING ME A TOTAL BLOGGER BLACKOUT BEFORE I HAD CHANCE TO ENTER ANY CHALLENGES WITH MY CARDS SO THE ONE'S THAT ARE STILL CURRENT I AM ENTERING NOW (FRIDAY), I HOPE THAT'S O.K xx

Butterflies & Pigtails - Basic Grey GDT Card

Good morning peeps,
All week I have struggled to find any motivation to make a card & hadn't even bothered with my craft room for 6 days and of course hubby starts his holiday and I want to play, play, play, that's so typical of me lol. I stamped and coloured a few images today as well as blitzed my craft room again still hunting for my missing bow easy. I think I have to face facts, it's been stolen, gasp, yes stolen, thank goodness my Magnolia's are still all here safe lol.

Today I have a GDT card for
to share, and this fortnight the challenge is
Thanks so much for inviting me to join you Liz & Jo xx

I have at last got round to inking up one of the gorgeous Sassy stamps the very lovely Elaine treated me to for my birthday, actually I was a very lucky girl & Elaine was very naughty and treated me to the whole new release, thanks again hun xx
Ingredients -
Image - Simply Sassy, Sugar Nellie
Medium - copics ( don't look close I'm a learner lol)
Papers - Basic Grey, Sweet Threads
Flowers - Wild Orchid & Prima
Anything else for stash
I've learnt an important lesson that loose glamour dust loves sticking to any tacky areas on the the copic colouring, so note to self either use stickles or colour well away from a pile of sparkly flowers lol

I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Creative Inspirations - fab sketch, Creative Inspirations - stitching,  The Poodles Parlour - come fly with me, Crafty Creations - let it shine,  Anything Goes - summer, Crafts & Me - in stitches, Crafting For All Seasons - summer, Papertake - here comes the sun, Craft Us Crazy - red, white & blue &/or summer theme, Crop Stop - summer inspiration & embossing, Secret Crafter - embossing

That's all from me for today peeps, I'm armed with a cup of coffee & fancy having a bit of a blog hop until hubby goes to play another of those "never again" games of cricket, guess who will be wanting a radox bath and some deep heat cream later lol.
Thanks for stopping by

Monochromatic Vintage - Do It With Digis DT

Good morning lovely peeps,
Today is my last day of relative peace as tomorrow hubby starts his holiday from work and is off for 18 days, yes 18! Oh lord that's 18 days of complaining every time I get my hoover out, 18 days of sport on TV, 18 days of extra mess, bless his heart lol. It's a ridiculous amount of days off, 7 is lovely I can do 7, after 10 he's really getting under my feet & on my nerves saying he's bored & that's a word I don't do & have never understood there is always far too much to do to get bored, but 18 days for goodness sake he'll be getting on his own nerves by then lol. Please keep your fingers crossed for lovely weather for me, I mean for him so he can jump on his beloved Harley & go off on his long rides which for some strange reason he loves doing & I can hoover to my hearts content lol.

Today is new challenge day at
& this fortnight our challenge is one of my favourites it's

Our lovely Lynne is sponsoring this challenge with a fabulous prize, shame I can't enter & try & win it lol. As always my teamies have some beautiful creations to inspire you, pop over & take a peek.

Now don't run off when you see the piccy, you are on the right blog lol, I have made a second attempt at vintage as I've made this card for my friend Ali's birthday & she loves vintage
Ingredients -
Image - downloaded from a free vintage image blog (sorry I can't remember which one)
Papers - Melissa Francis & Raspberry Road
Flowers - Prima, Kort & Godt & Wild Orchid
Lace - ebay
Charm - Bunny Zoes
Pin & pearls - stash
Tools - Woodware mini butterfly punch, Magnolia Doo Hickey butterfly, MS PATP

The picture below I've added especially for our lovely Dawn as she was concerned about my lack of "trademark sparkle" in the DT blog lol. Blogger wouldn't let me back in there to say "click the piccy Dawn" and this one shows the sparkle quite well so Dawn pop your specs on & click the pic lol.

The fancy corner is from ecrafts and I've again covered it with picket fence crackle paint as I don't like the gold one's I bought so they have all been painted to disguise that garish gold colour rather than throw them away

I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Stampavie & More - butterflies, Hooked On Crafts - anything goes, Simon Says Stamp & Show - metal, Everybody Art - anything goes, Deep Ocean - flowers, Whoopsi Daisy - pile on the flowers, Pile It On - metal, Make It Monday - anything goes, Totally Papercrafts - punches & dies, Sweet Stampin - things with wings, CES - sparkly flowers, Craft Your Days Away - monochrome, Simply Create - wings, Sketch Saturday - fab sketch, Crafts 4 Eternity - embellies beginning with R, Cutie Stampers - flowers

A big thank you to the lovely Jo for letting me know she is having exactly the same blogger problem, it's always good to know you aren't alone as it means it's definitely not my laptop or internet connection, & thanks so much for the suggestions for overcoming it, so far nothing is working but I'll keep trying.
Thanks for stopping by

Anniversary Wishes - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Good morning peeps,
Blogger & I are officially not friends anymore! I am able to vist some blogs no problem, but others blogger is having none of it. I am able to see the blog header and then it goes straight to a blank screen saying "diagnose connection problems" Arrrgggghhhhh there is no connection problems as hubby & the kids use their Internet fine, & most of the time I can, I can shop to my hearts content (and did here last night), my emails are fine, everything else is fine it is just some blogs it won't let me visit, unless of course you've gone & blacklisted me lol.

Please let me know if anyone knows of a solution for this, I've tried the ticking & unticking malarkey just in case that helped like it did when everyone had sign in problems, I've cleared caches & cookies, run scans, file clean ups, diagnostic reports say all is fine so I am at a loss as to what else to try.

Anyway lets get down to business.
Today is new challenge day at
and this week we have a
Our lovely Jane came up with a fabby sketch for us all, thanks hun xx

This little card I've made for my friend Ali's Wedding Anniversary next week & as her and her hubby are off camping for 10 days (I hope they took their wellys) I knew it was safe to make my DT card for them & post it here

Ingredients -
Sentiment - Magnolia
Flowers - Prima
Lace - Kaiser
Pearls - Hero Arts

Would you believe I have had these little cuties since the Cozy Family Autumn collection came out & it's the first time I've used them, shocking lol.

Here is Jane's fabby sketch, I know my teamies & I loved this sketch, I hope you do too
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a whopping $50 in store spending spree for one lucky person

I popped over to have a splurge with my DT spend yesterday (thanks Heidi & Steph xx), I thoroughly enjoyed my treat and then went back for more armed with my debit card lol.
I had a busy day online shopping yesterday, blogger is to blame by not playing nicely lol, I even bought a light tent and some mini daylight lamps as it's so hard to get a decent photo of my cards when a I snap them in my little craft room as it's so dark in there but I get complaints that the outdoor pictures don't sparkle, so never fear girls the sparkle will show up properly when I get my light tent, hopefully and no more reflections from the glass table on my cards lol.
I'm entering my card in the following challenges if blogger plays nice -
Everybody Art - anything goes, Make It Monday - anything goes, Stamp Something - pretty papers, Delightful Challenges - anything goes

Tomorrow I have another DT card to share and it's a bit different for me, no scrap that, it's very different for me lol.
Thanks for stopping by

Tilda's Galore - Totally Tilda DT Project

Good morning peeps, or I should say afternoon as it's been a hectic morning here, just for a change lol.

Today I have a post with picture overload so I will keep the waffle to a minimum so hopefully you don't nod off to sleep before you reach the bottom lol.

Today is new challenge day at
and this fortnight our challenge is

I tackled the biggest project I've made to date and it took me days to make but once I got going really enjoyed making it. I can't decide if it's a bandstand or a gazebo, well whatever it is it's full of  sweet Tilda's & one lucky little Edwin lol.
I bought the wooden gazebo /  bandstand from my local craft shop and painted it with gesso to prime the wood, and then slapped on some picket fence crackle paint. I didn't want to be able to see the backs of the cut out Tilda's too much & wanted something in the centre so I cut down and painted the inner tube of some kitchen roll and wrapped some May Arts olive cut out leaves ribbon around it and managed to push it through the frame and secured it in the centre to make a pillar. Once that was securely in place I added some roses to the ribbon.

All of the stamps I've used are Magnolia stamps from various collections. I've wrapped some ribbon around the posts and twirled it along under the roof and added a few roses. The little Tilda in the middle is Tilda wants a hug  from the Merry Little Christmas collection 2010 and I've popped some pearls over the holly she had in her hair. The pink butterfly is a Magnolia Doo Hickey & the white butterfly is a CC Designs die.
The sweet Tilda in the middle is an older Tilda called Tilda With Flowers from the Chasing butterflies collection 2009, she may be older but she's still one of my favourites, the snail is from the Fairytale collection 2010

Here we have a new Tilda called Lying Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011, & that's Shy Rose Edwin stood behind her from the You're So Special collection 2011, & there is a cute Tilda's bird on the post
Here is Tilda With Flowerpot from the Butterfly Dreams Collection, and another of those cute little birds. The tiny butterfly's are made with a Woodware punch, and of course have been glimmered and glamoured so make them sparkle.

Next up is another little cutie Watercan Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow collection, she is adorable, then again I think they all are lol. Beside Tilda is a gorgeous Wrapped Violet from the Chasing Butterflies collection. and I've hung a little bouquet of flowers from the top of the post and finished with a bow.
Last but not least is Wonderful Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow collection.
All images have been coloured with distressed inks, I did start colouring with copics but as I'm a learner with them it was taking far too long to colour each image so my beloved inks came out again.
I've added loads of different flowers, I can already hear our lovely Lori having a fit about how many flowers are on it lol. The flowers are a mix of Prima, Magnolia, Kort & Godt & Wild Orchid & all have been sparkled, just for a change lol.

I've decorated the roof by punching lots of strips of thin card with a Martha Stewart border punch and then distressing them with Frayed Burlap distressed ink, and then added the flowers, Magnolia Doo Hickey heart swirl & butterflies

I'll pop back later and enter some challenges as I'm off to the crematorium to take my dad some flowers & a can of Guinness :)

EDITED - I'm back and I've been having a little blog hop and have seen so many lovely tributes to your dads, one in particular I read had me sobbing my heart out. Treasure your dad's if you are lucky enough to have them girls, and make sure they know how much you love them, not just on Father's Day but every single day.

I'm entering my gazebo thingy in the following challenges -
Whoopsi Daisy - pile on the flowers, Stamptacular - fun in the sun, Corrosive - ribbons & bows, Totally Papercrafts - punches & dies, Sweet Stampin' - things with wings, CES - sparkly flowers, Totally Gorjuss - pearls & swirls, Simply Create - fly with us, Stamp Magic - summer, Timbroscrapmania - in the garden, Delightful Challenges - summer, Hanna & Friends - in the garden, Crafts 4 Eternity - embellies beginning with R-roses, ribbons, Cutie Stampers - flowers, Scrap Creations - anything goes, Anything Goes - summer, The Paper Shelter - punches & dies, Top Tip Tuesday - open challenge, Divas By Design - anything but a card

For those of you who like to see the sparkle the last picture is taken indoors

Thanks for stopping by and trawling through my very long post
