Today's card features Avery Elle's Star Frame steel die.

I have teamed the Star Frame Die with Simon Says Stamps Amazing clear stamp set to give my card a 4th July theme.

I began by stamping some of the images from the Amazing stamps set using Simon Says Stamps Lipstick Red, Schoolhouse Red & Blue Violet ink pads. I then die cut the Star Frame die using Soft Navy, Schoolhouse Red & White Woodgrain card stock and then arranged the die cut stars & the Star Frame die cut onto my stamped background.

I had a crazy idea to cut some of the red & blue stars off the spare die cut frames and attach them to the white frame which I had used on my card and this was something I regretted once I'd started as it was so fiddly to do, but I do like the result of adding them.

I have stamped all the images using Ink On 3 Fadeout ink pad and coloured them with my copics.

The pretty paper behind the scene is from Prima's Watercolour Floral 6x6 paper pad & the sky has been created by using MFT's Stitched Cloud Edges dies to create a template and blending Stormy Sky Distress Ink over it.

Lavinia Stamps is a brand I'd not used before & I was a bit stumped at first when choosing products for this challenge as many of those I picked went out of stock before I checked out so I opted for a Christmas theme, and thought I would try one of the pretty Scene Scapes backgrounds as I'd not even seen those before. Simon Says Stamp has since had a big restock and there are lots of lovely Lavinia Stamps products back in stock now :)

The Scene Scapes makes card making so much quicker which will be a big help around Christmas time as I never seem to create enough cards to send only handmade cards so these will help to boost my stash.

I've created a moon by using the Acetate Circle Mask Stencilink blending Simon Says Stamps white pigment ink through the stencil. Once I had good ink coverage I removed my stencil and masked the moon before lightly blending white ink around the moon.

I've stamped the Santa in his sleigh from Lawn Fawn's Winter Skies stamp set & also Lesia Zgharda Carpathian Pines clear stamps, & the die cut Star Of Wonder is by Memory Box.

To create the sentiment I randomly added a variety of blue Distress Inks onto my card and then die cut it using Simon Says Stamps Happy Birthday wafer die.

Our masculine challenge is always a challenge for me as I'm not a fan of masculine cards & it's fair to say they aren't one of my strengths! The only masculine cards I always enjoy making is for a baby boy, as I love making baby cards.
