Today's card features Impression Obsession Poppy Field Cling Stamp which I have stamped using Ink On 3 Fadeout ink pad & water coloured using Altenew's Watercolour pans & Distress Inks.

I am enjoying water colouring at the moment and coloured this image loosely using a large brush & allowing the water to work its magic & just adding some deeper shading where needed.  

I added some "flicks" of paint and Winsor & Newtons White Gouache & once dry I stamped "Sending hugs" from Simon Says Stamps Sketchy Flowers clear stamp set. 

Other supplies used - 

Black Pigment Ink Pad, Fun Foam, Tonic Paint Brushes, Canson XL Watercolur paper, Tacky Glue, Double Sided Tape, Guillotine Comfort Paper Trimmer, Paintbrush, Simply White Crystal Drops, Moonshine Sequins, Silver Sequins, May Arts twine.

Let It Snow - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps,

My Christmas trees are up and twinkling at last, I have even made a decent effort at Christmas shopping, hopefully I will get it all finished by the weekend or is that just wishful thinking lol.

On to today's card -

I so nearly went for the quick option and made a CAS card but I was missing my Magnolia's too much so out came a couple of oldie's for an inking.

The copic colours I've used are -

 body - C3, C1, C00, BV000, B0000 / YG15, YG13 / RV00,  hat, gloves & scarf - C3, C1, C00 / RV95, 9V93, RV91

 I'm entering my card in the following challenge-
Make It Monday - anything goes

My lovely friends at Simon sent me a gorgeous selection of Washi Tapes to play with and I couldn't resist squeezing in a little more play time and came up with a CAS card and gift envelope.

 After hearing stories ages ago of untrustworthy posties slitting envelopes & giving them a shake to see if money etc falls out whenever I send a gift voucher or even cash / cheque in a card I always make a mini envelope to pop it in and attach it to the front inside flap of the card & that way it's not obvious there is anything of any value inside the card.
Simon's cute little envelope dies are perfect for this and I simply ran some washi tape along the inside edges and a matching strip down the front before popping an Eliza snowflake on to pretty it up. Easy peasy and so quick to make :)
