Merry Poinsettia's - Simon Says Stamp DT

On today's cards I am featuring Studio Katia Merry Poinsettia stamp set & Rose Gold Confetti. 

I created my backgrounds by stamping the berry stamps from the Merry Poinsettia stamps set using Simon Says Stamps Clear Embossing Ink Pad and heat embossed the images using Gina K's Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

I've stamped the pretty Poinsettias using Simon Says Stamps Intense Black Ink Pad & coloured them with my copics & then fussy cut them before adding them to my card.

On my second card I have just reversed the colours & added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamps Winter Scene Stamp Set.

Simon Says Stamp Black card stock,  Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Tape, Tonic Guillotine, Tim Holtz Stamping Platform, Tonic Scissors, SSS Tacky Glue, Tim Holtz Scissors, Tonic Nuvo Simply White Crystal Drops

This week I am featuring a beautiful stamp set by Studio Katia called Merry Poinsettia.

I really struggled to create my card for this weeks challenge due to being unwell & even sitting at my desk for short periods of time was exhausting so as I have kept this card as simple as possible for that reason.

 I stamped & heat embossed my chosen images onto Canson XL watercolor paper and also heat embossed some leaves and the largest of the poinsettias onto a spare piece of watercolor paper and then coloured my images using Sap Green, Undersea Green, Naples Yellow & Quinacridone Red  Daniel Smith watercolors. 

I fussy cut the leaves & large poinsettia before adhering them onto my image and then lightly water coloured around my images.

For my sentiment I die cut Simon Says Stamps Believe wafer die and then added some "splats" of paint, crystal drops & a few TuTu sequins to finish.
