I have created a bookmark for this weeks challenge & it features an adorable clear stamps set called Bee Yourself which I received in my SSS July Card Kit Of The Month. This card kit sold out quickly but you can still purchase the different elements individually. I also used Simon's Embossing Ink Pad, White Embossing Powder, Black Pigment Ink & some Treasure Chest sequins.

The cute bees were stamped in Simon's Black Pigment Ink onto Canson XL watercolour paper & water coloured using Altenew Watercolour pans. This set of pans is currently sold out but there are many alternative watercolours here!

I stamped the honeycomb stamps from the Bee Yourself Stamps Set in embossing ink & heat embossed them using Simon white fine detail embossing powder. 

I watercoloured the honeycomb with my Altenew pans & then added in some Wild Honey Distress Ink to add more depth to the honeycomb, & then splattered on some of my paint, distress ink & white gouache. Once dry I added some Treasure Chest Sequins, Simply White, Pale Gold & Buttermilk Nuvo Crystal Drops.

While I was playing with my SSS July card kit I decided to make a little card for my daughter using the same supplies & techniques as above. 

I die cut my card base from Simon's Sunshine card stock and Simon's 3 Sided Scallop wafer die. I have used this die so many times before so it's definitely a must have for me!

This week I am featuring Penny Blacks adorable Taking Notes stamp which I have stamped with Memento ink and coloured with my copics.

My background has been created by stamping Simon Says Stamps pretty Ornate background stamp onto Neenah kraft card stock using embossing ink, I then heat embossed it using Simon's white embossing powder.

I wanted to keep the background colour to just shades of white and have some of the kraft card stock uncoloured so I only used a white pencil & a white gel pen to colour it. I absolutely love the effect of this & have used it on another card that I am yet to share with you.

The copic colours I've used are -

mice - E55, E53, E51, E50 / R30, book - RV95, RV93, RV91 / C3, C1, C00, pencil - RV95, RV93, RV91 / C3, C1, C00 / W2, W0, ink bottle - N6, N4, N2, N0 / RV10, RV00, RV0000.

My work rota has left me little time for crafting the past few days but the end is in sight as after Friday I get enjoy a few lovely days off.

For today's card I have featured Avery Elle's Modern Alpha dies & I have created this card CAS, & I actually like this one! 

I have stamped the cute image  Penelope has a pencil by Stamping Bella onto one of Simon's Large Tags & then coloured it with my copics & foam mounted it ready to pop onto my card.

I've die cut some white card stock with the whole Modern Alpha Die & popped some kraft behind it, then run a strip of Darice sparkle tape along the edge of my panel for a little extra sparkle before adhering it to my card. 

I also die cut the "HI" from the Modern Alpha Die using Darice sparkle tape & popped them into the die cut to create the sentiment.

I have added some finishing touches with a twine bow & a few Nuvo Crystal Drops  in Antique Rose.

Magnolia Ink Card, La La Land GDT & unclaimed candy!

Hello peeps,

I've got a bit carried away having another sort out in my craft room today, I only intended tidying my desk but couldn't stop once I'd started. I am seriously running out of storage space but I love having a sort out & a good tidy up as I've discovered four stamps and two dies that I had forgotten about and haven't a clue how long they've been sat in a tray waiting to be opened. It's nice to discover stash I'd forgot I had it's like having new all over again :)

Today is Inspiration Friday for the Back To School challenge at La La Land. This is my last GDT card for these lovely ladies so thanks for having me to join you for the past two months girlies I've really enjoyed it.

I made a major boo boo with this card as I had my first attempt at making a totally monotone card and although it looks better IRL I've discovered I'm a girl that needs colour & as adorable as little Luka is I don't like this card lol.

Simon Says Stamp DT - Tilda's Going Back To School

Hello peeps,

I went for a run yesterday!!! Totally unintentional as I don't do running as my shoulder dislocates when I do, but I was up the park with the dogs relaxing in the sunshine in my flip-flops, cropped jeans & T-shirt & I could see very dark clouds heading towards us & knew it was going to rain as it always feels like my shoulder is swelling, so I got puppy back on his lead and dear old Dude just dawdles alongside good as gold. On the way home it started to rain some very big raindrops, & then I heard it! A rumble of thunder, so with my usual blind panic I started to run and so did Dude who normally hardly has the energy to walk home but as he doesn't like thunder either he wasn't hanging around & overtook me. How on earth I didn't go flying is beyond me as it poured down & my flip-flops had become really slippery but there was no way I was stopping to take them off, & that mental puppy of ours got all excited probably at the shock of me running & wondering what I was doing, so he was literally leaping up & jumping at me as I was slipping around attempting to run. I must have looked a right sight soaked through with a puppy hanging off me and hollering "GO" everytime I caught up with Dude at a road as he still sat at each kerb waiting to be told he could cross the road bless his heart.
Forget this myth that exercise is good for you, I needed about 20 puffs of my ventolin inhaler to breathe again when I got home and my blooming legs are killing me today so they'll be no more running from me, I might drive to the park in future, just in case lol.
