Say It With Flowers - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello peeps,
The last few days have been crazy here looking after Jodie. She had to go back to A&E on Sunday afternoon and she was in agony trying to walk, she hasn't only torn the ligaments in one foot, it's both feet & was told not to weightbear at all so you can imagine the trouble she is having as even with the crutches she still needs to weightbear when going to the bathroom, other than that she is confined to bed. I'm sure I've never been up & down the stairs so many times in a day before, if I'm not helping Jode or keeping her company I've been busy answering the door and making endless cups of tea for all her visitors.

Today is my dear dad's birthday & usually I would take him flowers but my shoulder isn't up to me driving & my little invalid needs me but it feels really strange not going to his grave today. I know he has flowers and looks all "pretty" as I visited him on Saturday so I am o.k with being unable to visit him today, I know he would rather I stayed home & looked after "grandad's little angel" :)

I'm doing well with my Christmas shopping & I have even wrapped a few Christmas presents as once I saw the Coca Cola Christmas advert on TV I felt all festive lol. I'm not doing so well on the Christmas card making front though so I really need to step that up a gear, or maybe two lol.

Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is a
THANKSGIVING / THANK YOU
The one copic colour I always struggle with is green! I always find it hard to find a colour combo I like for greens so I end up keep adding various shades until I either give up or find one I like but the trouble is by then I haven't a clue which colours I've used lol.
The Copic Colours I've used are -
skin - E21, E00, E000, R20, E93, hair - E47, E44, E42, dress - V0000, RV93, RV91 /C00, socks - C1, C00, shoes C5, C3, C1, C0, flowers - RV93, RV00, RV000
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a fabby $50 is store spending spree

I have just seen this over at Papercraft Star and wanted to pop over and say how lovely it is. You make amazing cards at the best of times but this is so subtle and truly beautiful.

Sounds like your poor daughter has really been in the wars. Hope it doesn't take too long for her to get better and more mobile. Just think all them trips up the stairs will do you good and will be cheaper than the gym!!

    Love Mandy xxx
