Today's card features Avery Elle's Star Frame steel die.

I have teamed the Star Frame Die with Simon Says Stamps Amazing clear stamp set to give my card a 4th July theme.

I began by stamping some of the images from the Amazing stamps set using Simon Says Stamps Lipstick Red, Schoolhouse Red & Blue Violet ink pads. I then die cut the Star Frame die using Soft Navy, Schoolhouse Red & White Woodgrain card stock and then arranged the die cut stars & the Star Frame die cut onto my stamped background. 

I had a crazy idea to cut some of the red & blue stars off the spare die cut frames and attach them to the white frame which I had used on my card and this was something I regretted once I'd started as it was so fiddly to do, but I do like the result of adding them.

Simon Says Stamp Black Ink Pad, Tacky Glue, Double Sided Tape, Guillotine Comfort Paper Trimmer, Berry Red, Navy Blue & Simply White Crystal Drops,

I have created a card featuring Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Dies Set which I used to create a frame as my focal point on my card.

I stamped & heat embossed Simon Says Stamps Even More Spring Flowers onto Canson XL watercolour paper using Simon's clear fine detail embossing powder & then water coloured them using Altenew watercolour pans.

The sentiment is from Simon's Sketched Flowers stamps set & has been stamped in Simon's Black Pigment Ink.

I fussy cut my images & arranged them on my frame & simply added one of Simon's Stitching Butterflies, few clear gems & Nuvo Duck Egg Blue Crystal Drops.

 Other supplies used -

Tonic Paint Brushes, SSS White Woodgrain card stock, Simon's Black Pigment ink, Canson XL watercolour paper, Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Tape, Tonic Guillotine, Acrylic Blocks, Tonic Scissors, SSS Tacky Glue.

This week I am featuring Avery Elle's Happy Howl-idays stamp set on my card. 

 I have masked & stamped the image twice, coloured the cute images with my copics & fussy cut them ready to use on my card.

 I blended a mix of Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky & Salty Ocean Distress Oxides onto Canson XL watercolor paper and spritzed it with water & set aside to dry.

I die cut Simon's Holiday Frames die using Simon's Woodgrain card stock, added a few Seaglass Sequins & assembled my card.

 Other supplies used -

My work rota has left me little time for crafting the past few days but the end is in sight as after Friday I get enjoy a few lovely days off.

For today's card I have featured Avery Elle's Modern Alpha dies & I have created this card CAS, & I actually like this one! 

I have stamped the cute image  Penelope has a pencil by Stamping Bella onto one of Simon's Large Tags & then coloured it with my copics & foam mounted it ready to pop onto my card.

I've die cut some white card stock with the whole Modern Alpha Die & popped some kraft behind it, then run a strip of Darice sparkle tape along the edge of my panel for a little extra sparkle before adhering it to my card. 

I also die cut the "HI" from the Modern Alpha Die using Darice sparkle tape & popped them into the die cut to create the sentiment.

I have added some finishing touches with a twine bow & a few Nuvo Crystal Drops  in Antique Rose.

The copic colours I've used are -

skin - E11, E00, E000, R30, hair - C9, C7, C5, clothes - W4, W2, W0 / RV99, RV95, RV93, pencil - C3, C1, C00 / RV95, RV93, RV91 / E35, E31, E30.

Come Rain Or Shine - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
We've had some beautiful Spring weather here in the South West & I've been busy in the garden tidying, pruning & planting. I love the Spring when everything starts coming to life & looks pretty again :)
My voice is really husky & deep at the moment as the lurgy is going around again! That's one of the "perks" of working in a care environment the germs just seem to do an endless circle between staff and residents!

   goodies on our cards. You don't have to use them to enter our challenge but we'd love to see them if you do.

 

I have chosen the "shine" theme for my card and have used Avery Elle's lovely letters stamps for part of my sentiment which I've stamped on Simon's flat bottom clouds, and I've also used Simon's lovely Sunshine die for the remainder of my sentiment. I was annoyed that I have lost my little letter "y" from the Avery Elle set so improvised and stamped the letter "h" upside down. It's not as nice and swirly as the letter "y" but it works :)

Stamping Bella's cute "Amanda is Awesome" is coloured with copics and the sky has been coloured with chalks. I've added some lovely sparkle to the Prima flower & for the small flowers I've used my favourite Martha Stewart punch.

The copic colours I've used are -

skin - E11, E00, E000, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes -Y15, Y11, Y000 / C3, C1, C00, bench - W6, W4, W2, W0, grass - G43, G40, G20
