Father's Day At The Beach - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

 Good morning peeps,
It's so lovely to wake up to another hot & sunny day here in Somerset :)

Today is new challenge day at
& this week our challenge is

I've decided to go for a seaside theme for hubby's card as on Fathers Day he will be sunning himself in Portugal with Jodie as they will be on holiday with the Harley club. I've just bought Jode a pretty pink helmet with flowers on so at least part of her will look nice and girlie in amongst a group of thousands of bikers lol. They are both so excited & we are at the stage of the daily countdown! All day yesterday I kept hearing both of them say "only 19 sleeps", it's as bad as Christmas lol.
 Ingredients -
Medium - Copics
I tried a new technique for me on the sand, I coloured it and then masked my images and using a dish cloth dabbed on Copic colourless blender solution to give it a textured look like real sand has.
Apologies that I don't have the Copic numbers I used today as I used so many I lost track.
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 spending spree in the fabulous
Simon Says Stamp

Don't forget to check out the STORE BLOG for lots of inspiration, new products and chances to win lots of lovely candy.

As you can see my card had a little visitor when I was photographing it :)
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Paper & Such Design - Fathers Day, Stamp n Doodle - sparkle & bling, Top Tip Tuesday - dig out the old (gems & stamps-ocean background, butterfly, balloon, kite, dragon fly), Aud's Sentiments - any sentiment, Magnolia Mania - Edwin only, Penny's Paper-Crafty - anything goes, The Paper Shelter - bling it on, Creative Stamp Friends - Fathers Day, Lollipop Crafts - make a splash, Make It Monday - anything goes, Stamps & Fun = Creativity - anything goes, Let's Ink It Up - bling, Sketch Saturday - sketch

My gardening had ground to a halt as I needed to rest my shoulder after driving to Plymouth for my baby sisters birthday party so a little potter in the garden is planned today as it's feeling better & I really need to plant the hanging baskets.
I miss my baby sis so much it was so lovely to see her & her family & Tracey thoroughly enjoyed herself, as you can see baby sis had double vodkas a plenty lol
She's going to be so thrilled I published that pic lol.
Thanks for stopping by
