A Cutie, A Card & 4 x Candy Winners

Hello peeps,

Once again time has run away from me, I was planning on having a craft day with Ali this week but somebody stole the days, somebody little, & it was the little cutie who has stolen my heart, my great nephew Ollie :)

Our little man has been to stay again for a couple of days and when I'm busy playing or watching The Magic Roundabout & snuggling on the sofa with him thoughts of blogging & crafting don't even enter my head lol.

My house is well equipped for Ollie, he has a toy box full of toys, bath toys, DVD's etc, basically everything a 21 month old could possibly want and his favourite items to play with are ........my Copics, yes that's how much I love him lol.

Jodie took Ollie swimming yesterday morning & on their return home he toddled into the lounge chattering away & stood in front of me saying "cheese" (you can tell he's used to me constantly taking photos of him lol) so I quickly grabbed my camera and he then got straight down to creatively re-organising my Copics before he had even taken his coat & shoes off lol.

Paper Play DT & La La Land GDT & Anniversary Candy Winner

It has been so lovely hot here the last couple of days so I've been making the most of the nice weather while it's here and been spending time in the garden, I haven't been able to do any pottering as between my shoulder & thumb gardening is out for me at the moment, it's just been nice to be out relaxing in the fresh air :)

I'm going to try and whizz through my post as there's a lot to get through.

I have a couple of cards to share today and first up is my 

PAPER PLAY DT card and this weeks challenge is A SHAPED CARD

Apologies I can't give the copic colours for this image as I coloured it ages ago and didn't make a note but I'm guessing the pinks are R85, R83, R81, the skirt is the mid to lower E50's & the skin & hair are probably my usual favourites.

For my last candy draw I had a practice at saving the Random.Org picture on this laptop before I did the draw & didn't manage to do it so I eventually got my old laptop working to do the draw on there and save the image, but this time I forgot I still hadn't sussed it out & didn't want to pull my old one out as I had already done the draw so after 55 minutes of trying & coming very close to throwing this computer out of the window I have managed to save the Random.Org picture for proof of my candy winner, but the really annoying thing is I am not sure how I managed it as I've tried so many different ways lol.

Simon Says Stamp DT Card - Herb With Bird & Candy Winners & Candy News

Good morning peeps,

Well it's been a soggy few days for us here and I don't mean from the rain! I noticed there seemed to be a lot of water by the back door when I took Dude in the field on Sunday afternoon & by Sunday evening we had a lovely water feature in the form of a nice little fountain outside the back door and water running around the side of the house and creating a waterfall all down the steps in the front garden & out into the street. It was quite a crowd puller, several people were standing outside my front gate looking at it on Monday, even Ali had to keep going outside to admire it lol. By the time the workmen had dug up the patio outside the back door & found the burst water main & repaired it my poor kitchen was soaked in water & mud & as we have clay soil the mud is more orangey than brown, so I have been a busy girl trying to clean it up & catch the cats as they come indoors to wipe the mud off their feet so they don't leave muddy paw prints around the house.
