Anything Goes At Simon Says Stamp

Hello lovely peeps!
Oh my goodness where has Summer gone? I said to hubs at the weekend "I went to bed in August & have woken up in October" what the hell is going on lol.

I've spent a lovely few days catching up with my sister & niece, we've laughed & cried, & we've even chatted to some of our cousins in Leeds who we've not seen since we were children. My sisters and I are trying to sort out a date when we can all take time off work & us three can take a trip back home to Essex to visit our family. We all feel kind of "lost" since our mum passed away in May & having lost our dad 20 years ago makes seeing our aunts & uncles even more special & important to us now. We have a huge family, I am so looking forward to seeing them all again :)

On today's card I have used a cute Stamping Bella image which I absolutely loved colouring, & also some Hero Arts butterflies which I coloured & fussy cut before popping them on my card. 

I love Simon Says Stamps "email me when back in stock" option especially as I read my email & whizzed over and snagged all of the Stamping Bella stamps that I had wanted for ages but was never quick enough to snap them up when they were in stock :)

Gorjuss Bookmark & Tilda - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps!
Last night I intended to attempt an early night as I'm half way through a 13 hour shift right now & on call tonight so thought sleep might well be beneficial!
Instead of getting busy scheduling my blog post last I ended up sitting in the dark with my patio curtains open & garden lights switched on so I would be able to see Roger the stay cat as he hadn't visited for his tea! Eventually this cute little black & white face peered in at me through the patio doors at 11.10pm & I was so relieved to see the dear little fella as it's not like him to miss a mealtime. I then sat in the garden in my pj's chatting to him while he had his feast & then he was happy to just sit beside me purring for almost half an hour when it occurred to me that by the time I get my post typed and products linked I would now not get very much sleep, and that I am a complete and utter soft touch lol.

Today I have two cards to share again as I didn't get around to posting a new Magnolia card on my blog at the weekend so am sharing it along with my DT project.

As you can see I have created a bookmark as my DT project this week and used a cute Gorjuss Girl stamp called New Heights.

I've used a Prima tag to create my bookmark as they are the perfect size not only for Prima Dolls but also for this Gorjuss Girlie as she is a large stamp. The butterfly and the corners are also stamped using some accessory stamps from the New Heights stamp set. I have paper pieced the dress which is something I don't do very often for some strange reason!

Apologies for not being able to link my MME pad I have used, I only had it delivered two weeks ago but can't find it in store at the moment.

My second card today features a sweet Tilda from Magnolia's Sakura latest release & she is called Cute Sakura Tilda.
I am so annoyed I missed the deadline for ordering the stamp club this time, I kept an eye out for the Magnolia reminder email but didn't get one this time :(

I've used some Maya Designs papers on this card along with some of Simon's lovely Woodgrain & Sea Glass card.
I've recently discovered another box of stashed embellies containing the Mirabelle brad, Woodware ladybird & lots of lovely other items so have added them to this little card.
