Tilda The Cheerleader - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello peeps,
Thanks so much for all your suggestions regarding my laptop problems, I'm currently trying out Safari & fingers crossed, touch wood & all that, so far so good. I even managed to pop round and visit everyone who left me a comment on my last card as well as leave my DT comms yaaaayyyy lol.

Today is new challenge day at
SIMON SAYS STAMP
& this week our challenge is
SPORTY & / OR PATRIOTIC

This week my lovely teamies & I are featuring Cuttlebug products on our cards.
I have at last cut into my Magnolia stamp club from The Winner Takes It All collection which has been sat neglected in a drawer for months, shame on me lol.
Ingredients -
Featured products - Cuttlebug, Vintage Corner & Divine Swirls embossing folder
Image - Cheerleader Tilda, Magnolia
Medium - Copics
Papers - Magnolia
Sentiment - Magnolia, Postmarks - Bo Bunny
Pearls - Melissa Frances
Ribbon - Diamond Net Crinoline (another neglected item, oops)
Roses - Prima
Tools - MS Cherry Blossoms PATP, frond leaf & classic 3-in-1 butterfly punches, Spellbinders fancy tag, oval nesties & floral ovals

A lot of people have emailed and asked me how I manage to get the card out of the floral oval nestie as they find the card rips as it's difficult to remove it from the die. I've also found this so I die cut it and then turn the nestie over and emboss it a couple of times on what is technically the wrong side to try to help to ease the card out of the die and then use a cocktail stick to gently poke through the nestie. It is a lot more of a palava than using a normal nestie & it does take a bit of time but the dies are pretty so I think it's worth the extra effort.
The Copic colours I've used are -
skin - E11, E00, E000, R20, E93, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes & pom poms - C3, C1, C00 / R85, R83, R81 / RV00, RV10
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a whopping $50 in store spending spree in the fabby
Simon Says Stamp
Don't forget to visit the STORE BLOG peeps for lots of inspiration, new products & chances to win some lovely goodies
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Celebrate The Occasion - happy birthday, Deep Ocean - welcome Summer, Sassy Cheryl's - Summer, Bunny Zoe's - girls, girls, girls, Crafty Boots - sports, Hooked On Crafts - all that glitters, Love To Create - anything goes, Make It Monday - anything goes, Stamps & Fun = Creativity - birthday, Use Your Stuff - sewing, Corrosive - summertime girls, Penny Black & More - my favourite things (Magnolia stamps, flowers, pearls), Sentimental Sunday's - cute & girly, Sunday Sketch & Stamp - sketch, The Squirrel & The Fox - make it sparkle, 2 Sisters - anything goes, Inspire Me Fridays - anything goes, Just Magnolia - summer colours, Stempelsonne - sports & games
When I was out pottering in my garden I noticed Suggs (cat) was fascinated by the soak away drain by the patio & I spent ages trying to get the cover off & eventually manage to rescue this little chap who'd got stuck down there, I just hope he survives hubby's big fish as I popped him in among the pond plants.
Aww so tiny & cute, yes I think frogs are cute, is that weird lol.
nagging friend has at last got me to join Facebook for a GDT post as the DT group I need to upload my cards in is on there. I have no idea what I am doing on there yet as I'm still having a tantrum about having to join as in my world cards belong on blogs lol, but I'm told I need to have myself verified as my blog owner for my blog to be linked to Facebook by Networked blogs!!! If anyone fancy's following me on Networked blogs so I can add it to Facebook I'd be very grateful, the box is in my sidebar, thanks peeps, & thanks for stopping by

I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles - Addicted To Stamps DT Card

Good morning peeps,
It's wonderful to see the good old British summer is still in full swing here, my garden has gone wild with all this rain, & there's always a bright side it's looking so lush and green & saves me watering it lol.
I have decided I still really don't like this pink laptop, blogging takes me so much longer which means I get to visit less of you :( I'm going to have to ring that helpline again as it doesn't seem to matter which browser I use they all have different problems on this thing. So far I've tried IE which is so slow, freezes & I have trouble scrolling down the page, Firefox freezes, I can't select drop down boxes making paying for stash etc impossible & I have trouble with the pop up comments box closing when clicked on, Chrome is the worse and tabs shut when I click on them so switching between windows is impossible!!! Any suggestions of other browsers that are good & worth a try would be greatly appreciated peeps before I fatally harm this darn thing lol.

Tilda's On Holiday & Candy

Hello lovely peeps,
hubby & Jodie have been on their holiday for a week now and I've been sooooooo busy with DT & GDT cards & seeing friends & family I hadn't got any of the things I'd planned to do at home done yet, & as the days seem to whizz by today I deliberately stayed away from my laptop, craft room & that darn telephone & had a good old blitzing session and I feel so much happier for it :)
I have even finally painted and put together the 12x12 wooden paper storage units I bought a couple of weeks ago, that was one tedious job but I know I will love them when they are in use it will be so much nicer than having lots of plastic boxes of papers, my tiny little craft room is so chock-a-block now there's hardly room for me lol.

I have missed using my miss Tilda, can you believe it had been over a week since I inked one up, shocking lol.
Today is new challenge day at

This little candy consists of 2 x Lili Of The Valley stamps. It's not compulsory to add it to your sidebar or link up but you can of course if you want to, just pop your details in Mr Linky and I will draw the winner at the end of the month.
